Freshly Made Sketches #622

Jen Mitchell has the cutest Sketch #622 for us at Freshly Made Sketches and their team really made it shine in many ways.

Here is how it came together in my studio:

This one features a piece of paper I've been hoarding for years - only the best will do for the friend who will receive this little cutie for her birthday!  My little 'arctic' fox is from the HoneyBee Heart Hugs set of dies and the 'ruffle' is an oldie from
Pinkfresh Studios: Essentials Lacy Edgers.  I tied a slender piece of grey satin ribbon around this panel to represent the band on Jen's sketch.  A few balloons, a sentiment from CCC and my card is complete!

I hope Jen [and the birthday girl] likes it!

This is so pretty. What great use of the paper and I love the little ribbon. A great piece of detail that enhances the card. The grey and white with just tiny hints of other colours look so cool xx

Oh, how cute is that birthday fox? You hoard well, too--that patterned paper is almost too perfect behind the little guy.

Good thing my little Will wasn’t in your craft room because he would have snapped up that sweet background paper in a hurry! This is adorable! Love it!

Awwwwwwwwww...is it for me?????? Even if it's not, it's still absolutely ADORABLE Michele!! (I just used the bear and hedgehog from this set the other day for a Valentine card...we must have been on the same wavelength!!) I love the dsp you used and that sweet little die cut snippet at the bottom too! And of course that fun little fox holding the heart also!! Sweet, sweet card my friend!! Hugs. :0)

Oh my, you make a great case for not throwing snippets out. What a foxtastic card! The pattern paper you used sets your little friend off perfectly. Every detail is just right. I appreciate your artistic eye for detail. Thank you for sharing.

Love that hoarded piece of patterned paper and it is the perfect backdrop for the darling Arctic Fox. That touch of "lace" seals the deal...winter card perfection!

That paper is very special. I am so glad you were brave and took it out of the stash for this very special card. I just love it. It couldn't be more dear.

Oh, my goodness, there is almost more cuteness here than my little heart can handle! Soft, pretty, utterly adorable! I know the birthday girl will feel the same!

That paper is wonderful and so is that lacy die, Michele. Both work together so make a space for the darling fox - one of my favorites.

Jen likes this very much! As one paper hoarder to another I can totally understand why you only use certain ones for certain special people! The paper, the fox, the balloons, and the lacy edge all combine together into one fabbo card! Bravo!
