Double D Challenge: Patterned Paper!

I have quite a collection of patterned papers that I just HAD to have - don't you?  I was really happy to see the gals at Double D embrace them in their Patterned Paper challenge!   Here are the few they shared in their mood board this month:

I recently rifled through my snippets and found a scalloped panel of the prettiest paper - don't ask who made it - I only wish I had MORE!  But I love the dusty colors and the fact that there is NO white in it.  That made me work a little harder to find matching card stock for my sentiment...

EH Oyster grey, and MFT's Steel Grey won me over... the dies [word and leaves] are
Altenew and 'love ya' is from HoneyBee.

Bonus:  that big sentiment die might be just the ticket for Word Power #2!

I love Sundays that involve Tom working on a project - it allows me to do what I love, too!  We'll come back together over a simple Sunday supper later!

Hope you've had a little crafty time of your own this weekend!

This is so pretty. What a bonus to use up that snippet too. I have stopped buying patterned paper because I use it so rarely, but I still have lots! xx

Ooohhhh, this is beautiful! I'm swooning over the paper AND the miss you sentiment! My guy and I are doing just what you two are doing today! Meatloaf and roasted veggies when he's ready!

oh yes, the oyster grey was the perfect choice my friend. You make it look so simple but I know there was a lot of thought that has gone into this design!

I'm swimming in pattern paper, but I don't have any that are as pretty as this one you used! Lovely work my friend!

Oooh, what pretty paper! I love when something is both pretty and fun, and that's this card in a nutshell. The scalloped edge and sentiments are perfect with the mood of the paper, and they send your thoughts in such a cheerful way. You had the perfect grays to coordinate. I adore this, Michele, and I'm so glad you played along with us at Double D!

Here we are again looking at a very creative card that you made with design papers. I really enjoyed your card. Thanks for linking up with Double D Challenge.

What a pretty piece of patterned paper, Michele, and I love how you had that large die cut sentiment to put on top! I especially love that little tag "tied" on the sentiment!

I love that paper and the fact that it is cut with a scalloped edge, Michele. The leaves are the perfect match for the paper. I have a ton of patterned paper so I think that challenge will be my project for today.

Yours and Tom's Sundays sound just like mine, each of us pursuing our hobbies and then a lovely catch up for supper.
Your patterned paper is delicious and the big bold sentiment is a perfect fit.

That paper is to die for, and the little tag you attached to that fabulous "miss you" die cut just won my heart.
