Another little post to thank those fab gals @BYSHCardmakers for helping me getting me started with my 2023 Christmas cards. You may know this, but I send as many as I can over to those sweet seniors through the wonderful Bring Smiles to Seniors organization.
You all loved my stenciled mountain scene - guess what? I didn't waste any of that ink! After each stencil layer was complete, I gave the stencil a fine mist of water and flipped it over onto a piece of ordinary Neenah 80# paper! By the time I had the original card finished, this one was ready for embossing - SSS Tall Pines was right there waiting for it!
Hey - I think I'll send this one over to Can you Handle the Pressure, too! No twist, but they won't mind!
HEY! Speaking of - I had a fun day of play with all my new Christmas goodies from Alex Syberia Designs ... check out the 'tropical' colors I borrowed from the packaging...

My you have been busy recently. Great use of your left over ink and those Alex Syberia flowers are very impressive. Great idea to stamp them on the card too, love the finished look xx
Fantastic use of the leftover ink and it works so beautifully with those gorgeous pines the texture is fantastic. Your second card is mouthwateringly beautiful the colours are FABULOUS and I love the placement and dimension.

That first card, a twofer card, is simply beautiful! So artistic and I love that. And I love the bright & bold colors you used on those awesome flowers.
I'm glad you didn't waste any of that ink, Michele! The monoprint made a perfect background for these embossed trees! I love your Christmas bells! The stamping behind looks like those bells are ringing out with a Christmas carol! Great sentiments on both cards!
Two more fun card, Michele!! Love them - and the way you spritzed water on the stencil to make a second card. I tend not to think about all of the ink I am washing down the drain until it is too late! The white you used on the second card is inspired. It gives a beautiful balance to the bold colors of your flowers. You are on a roll this week!! Thanks for gracing our BYSHC gallery with your creativity!

Love your "leftovers" pinetree card...that embossing folder is amazing! Your bright, colorful cards are pretty awesome too!

A beautiful fantasy forest... I love it! And those flower bells are gorgeous in a Christmas card. Not everyone has cold and snow at Christmastime and this would be perfect for them.

These are both EXTRA pretty! Love the way you used the pine tree EF with your leftover inks. Now about those Bells... WOWEE what fabulous colors and depth!
