Lucky Charm Bracelet

You still have two more days to use that LUCKY13 code at Ellen Hutson, LLC … just in case you haven't secret Santa-ed yourself enough yet!  lol

The Lucky set [a gift with qualifying purchase] is loaded with all the perfect words that one would use with that Lucky word die... here's a fun way to use lots of them together!

I might be the only person still alive that remembers having a charm bracelet!  One of the charms I bought as a tween was a little tiny frying pan with a sunny-side-up enameled egg in it - I think it was my destiny to become a Chef, right?

I'm hoping that my friend Marge will read this and tell us more about that wonderful chain* she sent to me … or perhaps one of you has a source?  It worked a charm [pun intended] for my bracelet!  as did those darling Mini Tags dies!

I can tell you that the wonderful panel die is one from MFT called Blueprints 33, and the paper is another from that Honey Bee Log Cabin pad.  I've color-blended a few of the newest Catherine Pooler inks onto the Lucky base layer:  Sangria, Orange Peel, Sage - an oldie but goodie color - and Hot Tub [am I turning into a blue fan?] and rounding it off with my favorite grey: Twilight.

Yes.  I am the Lucky one!  Thank you for sharing a bit of your precious time with me!

=]  Michele

pssst…. don't forget that LUCKY13 code!!!

* here's a source for many different types of chain on Etsy!

Darling card what a fabulous idea. I too had one of those silver charm bracelets stuffed full of silver charms from every place visited. Lost it in a home burglary sadly. But your card brings a smile as I remember collecting those charms.

Since i'm probably older than you, I do remember charm bracelets and had one (wonder where it is) full of life changing moments, i.e., first job, first car, marriage, children. Think I enjoy yours more with the coordinating sayings. You're getting a lot out of that chain and delightfully so. Clearly, this card means a lot. BTW, are you a chef? If so, What a coincidence because I'm a really good eater.

My girlfriend and I had charm bracelets in high school and gifted each other charms for birthdays and Christmas! I still have that bracelet somewhere. Love your card and the memories it brings with it!

Oh this is FUN, I like the rainbow lucky letters. And all of those dangling charms are extra sweet. I have three charm bracelets. My mom used to buy me a charm every Christmas. Once the silver bracelet was full, she moved on to a gold one. I also have a bracelet I filled with Mackinac Island charms for myself!

What a fun little charm bracelet, such a clever idea! I still have my charm bracelet, which was passed down to me by my mother, so it has extra sentimental value! Lots of fun memories in those charms!

Love the ink blended shadow! Charm bracelets were all the rage when I was a teen too.

Oooh how fun, a sunny side up egg charm? Yep, it was destiny! I totally remember sweet charm bracelets. They still sell them, but more upscale than I remember. ;) I like your sweet bracelet a lot. What a neat way to use the lucky sentiments. Thanks for the source on the chain, too. As always your cards make me smile and marvel at your creativity. Hugs!

Nope you aren't, I love charm bracelets!!! I have an angel one and love it. I love the jingle they have too. lol I love this card, it is just too cute! I love those little tags and the sayings you put on them. Perfect! How fun you had a little charm in the shape of a frying pan with an enamel sunny side up egg. Love it! lol You can get just about any size of ball and chain on Amazon, I just don't know the size of yours. Hopefully Marge will come through for you. But check Amazon my friend. Hugs, Brenda

I had a charm bracelet, too! I love how you showcased those cute tags and how you colored the background on your die-cut sentiment...such a sweet card, Michele!

So cute. I have an older charm bracelet that I got for a present. I has lockets that open and my DIL filled hem with family pictures. I really need to update them but they are so tiny. I also have my Chamilla (like Pandora) with lots of charms and I wear that often. I think I had one in high school but don't know what happened to it.

Charm bracelets were popular in Tokyo too when I was younger. :-)
The mini tags are arranged so pretty. Love that you colored the Lucky base layer and matched the colors with the sentiments' colors on the tags!

This is fabulous!! I love the charms so, so much! I still have my baby charm bracelet! It was a tradition in our family as jewelers to start the little ones off with a bracelet, which would fill up each birthday with a special charm or two. I absolutely adored my snow white charm (which has sadly been lost). But I would have loooved to have a foodie charm like yours!
