Two Takes on a Color Trend

I'm in The Classroom at Ellen Hutson today sharing one of two takes on a Color Trend, using this gorgeous March Pin-Sights graphic...

Having Julie's darling newly released  So Matcha stamps, and die set in my studio made it easy, and fun, to incorporate those fabulous colors!

My card started with a heat embossed panel from Hero Arts, some very easy and quick coloring with matching Distress, and Distress Oxide inks...

Then on to a bit of stamping, coloring, and die cutting with this darling little Japanese girl ... I love her 'so matcha!'

Thanks for stopping by today!  Shall we head to The Classroom to see the Second Take?  I should say so ... it's Lisa Adametz!  woo hoo, and I can't wait!

Now, that is just as precious as can be. The background evokes the colorful kimomos beauifully and that darling geisha just makes the heart happy. Lovely card.

Oh my gosh, another darling card, Michele! I love all the fun colors and how it looks like this sweet little girl tossed the umbrellas in the air, and they are cascading back down toward the ground...so CUTE :)

Wow, gorgeous distress ink and distress oxide ink watercoloring, Michele! The colors you used and the way you watercolored are soooo beautiful! And what a great way to add those umbrellas! They make the card look so fun. No wonder the little Japanese girl is all smiling! Hideko xx

The lines on the flowers match the ribs on the umbrellas and with the lovely watercoloring make a perfect backdrop, Michele. Congrats on your Classroom post.
