Christmas Kickstart and Peace on Earth

Yesterday was a great day for Christmas cards and two challenges caught my eye, so I took advantage.

First up Christmas Kickstart #85 where they are featuring Santa and his Sidekicks!  I'm not sure if this is a 'sidekick' or the 'get-away-guy!'  He looks as if he's taking off with Santa's bag... you'll see what I mean:

My card combines two MFT sets that are pretty old and well-loved.
Jingle all the Way & Present Time.
The 'moon' was found among my snippets and gave me a good place
to stamp a modified sentiment from the Jingle set.

Their top right photo was my color inspiration and I brought out my
old friend from WPlus9 today and found all the bits and pieces for
this sweet bird and bits!
Woodland Basics + Spellbinders Essential Four Petal Labels + Tile Reflection embossing:

The good news is I added TEN cards to my Christmas card stash this week!  Yay! AND the better news is it is finally warming up - it hit 72 today!  Double YAY!

Thanks for stopping by!  I appreciate you so much!

I've yet to start my Christmas cards, and you are putting me to shame. Those two MFT sets are too of my faves, and I love how you've combined them!

Ten!!! WoW I am woefully behind...but I make far fewer than you do for your sr's. Both are fabulous. Loving those better press sentiments, so crisp.

Wow, Michele, you are rocking the Christmas card making! 10 cards in a week. That is awesome. Also great news is that it is warming up for you! We had a super soggy Saturday, and hopefully the clouds will listen and head your way! Your cards here are fabulous. I adore the charm of the first one. Made me smile. And the beauty and elegance of the second card is off the charts! Lots for you to be proud of!

10 cards, that's impressive. Love these 2 especially that embossing folder on the second one. I hope we are going to have some warm sunny weather tomorrow too. About time! xx

I'm glad you are finally getting a nice day. It's perfect here. A bit warmer than you are with a nice breeze and low humidity. It looks like your snowman is making a quick getaway! He makes me smile! Love your sweet bird and lovely layering on the second card! Good for you adding so many to your Christmas stash. Your seniors will be grateful.

I spy my favorite MFT Santa and his sidekick is having way too much fun! Card number two is so elegant in kraft. And now I'm wondering what happened to my SB embossing folder that you enabled me to get last year!

10 Christmas cards??? You are an over achiever!! These are both delightful, but where are the other eight? I love the embossing on the second card. So incredibly detailed and stunning!

Oooh, wonderful progress for your seniors this week! I'm completely smitten with your first card. With all the fun and color it gives me a big smile as I know it will give the recipient. The snowman does look as if he might be on the naughty list this year, tee hee! Your second card is lovely and warm. The embossed background is amazing! I hope your warm weather stays a while. It's dark and raining here again today.

Ten Christmas cards... you go girl! You've added some wonderful layers to Santa and his sidekick but it's the gorgeous embossing folder on the second card that has me oohing and aahing!

Ten cards?! How fabulous and energetic of you, Michele. I love that bag stealing snowman and that's my favorite Santa too. All the elements on the second card pulled together for a wonderful design.
