Color Throwdown #788

A quick post with another Anemone or two.  This time just for Color Throwdown #788 and these gorgeous colors:

One might think I would have pulled out a bird - I have a few don't I?  But some pretty card stock from Concord & 9th did the trick beautifully!

Papers: Dragonfruit, Briar Rose, Sunflower, Lemongrass, & Avocado
A bit of 'loose' water-colored stenciling with WF Puffy Squares stencil.

You know my rule, right?  Here's card two... using the stencil properly
this time to make my background.

I found some pretty close matches to the cardstock in my ink stash:

Happy Sunday, my friends!

Here are those fabulous fun flowers again! Love them and the puffy squares. All the color is wonderful! The names of colors are enough to sell them to me. Dragonfruit? There's a new one. I always love the names of Distress inks, too. What great cards, Michele!

Those big bold flowers need bold ink and you found the perfect ones, Michele. Love the background stenciling either way you do it.

Two stunners today, Michele! Love those bold blooms and the backgrounds are so fun. Both loose and traditional, those puffy squares are so retro. They go perfectly with these flowers.

Two more beauties Michele, and I do love that bright color combination! You do know that I had to order this die set after seeing your first cards made with it, right?! (Yes, I know I could have borrowed yours, but this is one I want for my own and I can't wait for it to come!! Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)

I'm loving those anemones the more I see them--especially on your cards! Both stenciled backgrounds are perfect for each set of blooms. LOVE!!
