Hey, hi, HELLO!!!

I have had such a week - I won't bore you with the details, but let's just say it didn't involve much time in my studio!  BOO!

Well, I remedied that last evening while Tom was watching hockey playoffs - Yay!

Kim has an interesting Sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.  Once again, I might have thought to take a second look at it, but she won't care one bit!

I had lunch this week with one of my granddaughters who just completed her first year of college!  She worked so hard this year!  Since she is a girl after my own heart, she will love that I made her a fishing card as she spends a fair amount of time fishing the beautiful lake that they live on.

I think the pink in this wonderful paper from SU [thanks again, Cat!] works
a charm for a fisher-girl!  But that glittering fish [HoneyBee Lovely Layers: Rod & Reel] might just be the cutest finishing touch...

HoneyBee [Hooked on You] has just the words Lola needs to hear!

Hey, I needed that, too... it might just be a stay-in-my-pjs-stamping day today!  Hope you have one, too!

That DSP goes perfectly with your rod and reel, Michele. I know how busy things can get. I have been working ahead with DT stuff and haven't had a chance to enter any challenges.

Looks like the perfect card for your Lola and I know a granddaughter who would also enjoy this! That sparkly fish is too cute and I do love that fun paper. We had three fishermen out on the lake today... they were bummed, not a single bite! Hope your weekend is a good one XO

I'm so sorry to hear you've had a rough week. But it sounds like it wasn't all bad since you got to visit with your granddaughter. How fun that she loves fishing. The card you made her is fabulous! Love the glittery fish. I hope you get to create lots this weekend!

Oh, I bet she loved it, what a fabulous card for a fishin' lovin' girl, the pink just makes it perfect! Congrats for her getting through her first year too which has to be the hardest! My grandson graduated UOM a year ago April and is headed back this fall for his masters (gosh am I REALLY that old LOL).
since I sent you an email and forgot to thank you for my beautiful card, I'll do it here, Thank you so much it is gorgeous and of course will eventually (I have to admire it for awhile) go into my 'collection' of all the handmade cards I receive!!

Love, love, love this one, Michele! What a sweet card for your granddaughter, who needs to have a little love after a year of college. The sentiment is sweet, but I also agree that the papers are darling!

As for you -- take the day -- pj's are ALWAYS an option, if staying at home! And we kinda deserve them haha

The paper is so very cute (Cat knew it was made for you), and your rod and reel and fishy are perfection in the foreground. Over time you have escalated fishing cards to the highest level. I would love a pj day. Not happening here in spite of the continual rain.
