Freshly Made Sketches #626

My sweet friend has gone home - I'm going to be mighty lonely tomorrow I just know it! I had a wonderful time and I hope TK did, too!  More from our play day with Marcia, soon!

Yesterday while TK was stamping, I threw together what I 'thought' would be a cute card for Freshly Made Sketches #626... man, I should have taken a photo of Cecile's wonderful Sketch!  I even forgot it was supposed to be a SQUARE!  Oh well.  Here's my card...

This card measures 4 x 7 inches and features a cute CCC set called Birthday Wishing and
a few very old die-cut balloons from SSS cut from very old MFT paper.

Though it can't be seen, I Wink-of-Stella'd the top balloon, and the ribbon on their gift.

Sorry I didn't have time for second helpings, Cecile - I promise I'll do better next time!

Your card is adorable no matter the shape! The sweet characters in this set always bring a smile! So happy you had a wonderful visit with TK. Again, one of those times I wish we were neighbors XO

you have mixed those giant balloons with the little creatures perfectly and it works really well. Love that sentiment for a birthday too xx

SUCH an adorable card, Michele, I just love this set and you used it masterfully! Yes, I've seen it but it still makes my heart happy -- square or not.

Totally a cute card for the sketch! You know we are more "suggestion" instead of "rule".... :-) These little critters could not be cuter. Always happy to see you at FMS!

It may not be square, but the cuteness factor overrides that in my humble opinion!! These paper mice (my favorite kind!!) and the bunny with his own balloon are just too CUTE and colored perfectly too! A perfect birthday card! I hope you're not too lonely today and that the "loads" and some stamping keep you extra busy! Hugs. :0)

I love that you amended the sketch...sometimes artistic license is a must. So glad you had fun with TK and that you got to have Marcia in too. Cool.

Maybe not square but super adorable, Michele! I'm not surprised that you had a great time with TK & Marcia. I hope you're not too lonely today. Maybe you have some more adorable CC critters that can keep you company?

Even without it being square I think it's very clever and perfect for the sketch. Super cute, too! I know you had a fabulous, if brief, time with your guest. Parting is such sweet sorrow. We had a guest here this weekend, too. Our son. It's been nice, but Sophie is going to be very sad when he leaves this afternoon.

I saw it was square and still didn't make it that way, Michele. You needed a big one for those fun balloons and the little critters that are celebrating. It is a let down when you are alone but you have wonderful memories to keep you company.
