Hello, my friends! I had a little time yesterday for stamping between loads and after seeing the adorable inspiration from Darlene and Diane, Spring flowers won the day!
I love my Altenew tulips! I can't resist them year after year! Today I was feeling peachy - peachy orange-y more like...
My panel of paper was a little off-sized, so I created a secret
space for an additional sentiment by hinging one side and
securing it to the top of my card base with double-sided tape.
The other edge was treated to more of that lovely PF edging, and EH
x-stitching.
I lined up two of the 'eyelets', marked them with a pencil and then used my
poke-y tool to punch through just the top of my card base for some quilting thread.
I'm wondering if the recipient will know there is something behind
'door number one?' lol
My newly planted tulips are peeking out - I only hope they are as pretty as these
For my second card? I just repeated the inks for these Altenew Narcissus...
Not quite as pretty as those Jonquils in the Four Seasons inspiration photo but
as Farmer Hoggett would say: 'that'll do pig.'
Maybe there will be more stamping today? Ya think? I hope your day includes a little stamping - if so, I know D & D would love to have you play along, too!

Gorgeous tulips, Michele! The colors are amazing and I love your secret door! And the daffodils are so pretty against the woodgrain background! Tulips are up and blooming here. Hopefully yours will be soon.
Love that edge die and what a clever idea with the secret message. Hope the recipient does find it OK. The background on the second one adds the perfect amount of interest to make those daffs shine xx
Gorgeous spring cards Michele, I can quite see why those tulips get lots of use at this time of year. As to walking in the long grass, I wouldn't recommend it at the moment as the ewes got out through the fence this morning and found the long grass very appealing and left their calling cards before they were moved on! They were probably disgusted at the amount of grass in the field they were in and made a run for it before we could move them to another field. I hate having to move ewes and lambs as the lambs are notoriously wick when trying to herd them and some ewes are just downright ornery! Spent best part of the morning trying to unite lambs with ewes, absolutely knackered!! :)
Tulips, now where did they come from lol, these are beautiful and so very 'Springy'!
Ohhhhh, these are pretty and how clever is your tulip card! Your pretty orange blooms have me longing for Spring to make it's arrival! It seems to be coming and then going around here as of late! Snow on Sunday and 67 today... what the heck!
Two amazing Spring cards, two recipients will be pleased as punch! I love the colors, and of course the tied "door" is brilliant -- only you, Michele!
Two gorgeous springtime cards but the tulip card (my fave colors, too!) with the secret opening--how creative is that? Paper engineering at its finest!

Both cards are absolutely BEAUTIFUL Michele, but the tulips card steals the show IMHO! I love the extra stitching and die cut edging too. The peachy-orange colors on both cards are sooo pretty and definitely say SPRING!! Hugs. :0)

I love the fancy edge on your hinged panel, Michele, and the tulips are so pretty in that peachy shade. The narcissus aren't what I think of color wise but they are lovely just the same.
Ohhh, I love that peachy-orange color and the first card has knocked my eyes out with it's pristine beauty! The eyelet edging and the stitching... and the secret door... so much loveliness to behold. The beauty carries on in your Narcissus blooms, simpler, but also lovely with plenty of that fabulous wood grain white. I'm glad you had time to play with us at Double D. The mood boards of both challenges are kind of irresistible, aren't they?
