buh, buh, buh Bird is the WORD!

I have a second card for you today ... I'll make this quick as I know you are all getting ready for the weekend!

Just us Girls #718 and Time Out #259 have teamed up for their challenges - what a dynamic duo they are!  It's Word Week at JUGS and BIRD is the word!  Time Out's theme is Birds of a Feather!  I brought out a set from way back in 2016 that continues to make me smile... hope it makes them smile, too!

Is it crazy that I miss hanging out the laundry?  There are so many
Bluebirds that 'flock' when I open the patio door - I'm sure it
would soon be covered by their 'beautiful mess!'
I think it's those walking between the buildings in my urban scene
who need to watch out below!  LOL

Thanks, JUGS and Time Out for giving me a reason to bring these fun Wplus9's Happy Birds out to play again.  Altenew's Masonry Wall embossing folder had its first spin through the machine today!  I did a little 'precision' cutting to create the windowsills from which the clothesline stretches between buildings.  My very appropriate sentiment also comes from Altenew: Crafty Friends... I even found the 'droppings' there!  A few MFT clouds were subtly stenciled in the sky and I used Altenew's Orange Blossom dies to make the trees!

Happy weekend, everyone!  Thanks for hanging out with me this week!

LOVE this set and your card too! And I am sure these birds won't make a mess like the 'real life' versions lol.
Ps now that song is stuck in my head and it's only 7am in the morning... it's going to be a long day!

Very cute! I am glad that I can hang out my clothes....so far, so good with no birdie mess! But these birdies look neat and tidy, they would never make a mess! I just got that embossing folder gifted to me...I wasn't sure if I would like it but it looks very interesting! TFS!

I have a history with birds making a mess...ON ME(and one wedding dress in question). In conclusion, I LOVE this card and was so happy to see it in the JUGS gallery for this special challenge!! Another nifty EF from your stash of many! I passed on this one, but the way you've used it has changed my mind! The colors you used for the wall are fantastic. I remember those cutie little birds and was so happy to spot them in our JUGs gallery!

Michelle I hear you about hanging laundry on the line! I have not done that since we moved to the country, but there is nothing that the fresh scent of laundry dried outside! Happy Birds almost came out to play for my card this challenge too, I ha it on my desk but the seagulls won! Your card is so cute and I love the memories that the line invokes! Thanks you so much for playing with us at Time Out and JUGS this challenge!!

Ack! These birds are so gosh darn cute and colorful! Love your whole artfully designed card. That Masonry Wall is on my wishlist. When I went out back with Sophie this morning we both stood quietly listening to and watching the birds. Mornings are the best. The trees were full of sound and movement. It was interesting how Sophie seemed to be as mesmerized as I was.

I grew up with a clothesline - no dryer until I was out of the house and in college. I love these funky urban birdies hanging out between the buildings. I love that you joined our collaboration at Time Out/Just Us Girls. Thanks so much for playing!
