Easy as ABC Day 4

I'm having fun while creating a few more Christmas cards … that's creative multi-tasking at its best!  another with one's leftovers is even better!

For Day 4 - Mixing Alpha dies, and stamps

I used my new Stampin' Up texture on the panel... my favorite new toy this season!  Keeping the Poinsettia plain gives plenty of attention, without adding any color at all.  My stash does not include alpha stamps, but one of the tiny sentiments from the Festive Poinsettia set
works a charm... I hope that isn't cheating!?

And here is my 'leftovers' card!

I just want to know...is it lonely at the top of the class? Cause, you are there, my friend! I am so impressed with both of these gorgeous cards, Michele! The texture on your first one with the stunning vellum Poinsettia is breathtaking, and I love your selective coloring on the 2nd card...WOW and WOW again!

Both of these are ubcre== (oops wrong keys) incredible Michele! I especially love how you have used the negative space for the poinsettia on the second card design!

I did get to sit by you...in the linky! This card is absolutely gorgeous, your sentiment works beautifully. And now I have got to have that embossing folder, so under stated but elegant! Can't wait to see day 5!

BTW, you make a very elegant case for purchasing the dies, the second card is brilliant!

Such pretty cards, Michele. That texture from the embossing folder is beautiful and helps set off anything else you add to the card. Wonderful work!

Good golly, girl. You class homework is really smokin' hot. Had to go by that embossing folder...it's the bomb. (I comment like a Valley Girl.) And those grey cardbases are fantastic. Truly awesome work.

Wow, you did a fantastic job of mixing alpha dies and stamps, Michele! Love the subtle texture (I haven't used the SU eb folder yet!)and the way you showed the sentiment stamped multiple times.
The dry embossed strip on the left side of the second card is a really nice touch! Beautiful and creative twofers!

Ahh I love these caps bold alphas!! I'm currently crushing on them so hard that they're practically making it onto every card! lol They're so versatile, aren't they?? I love this card, Michele! And the way you stamped the background is so awesome! Love the hues too. Big time!

The little stamps behind the word cut are perfect, Michele. I need some large alpha dies.

I'm going to have to look for a sentiment to use behind my cut out word. I wasn't having any luck thinking up a word. Great idea. Thanks so much. Your cards are both just beautiful. I like that SU texture, too.
