Color Hues #19

With lovely crafty friends like mine, a girl can have what seems like an unlimited variety of supplies at her fingertips!  Thanks, Marcia for sharing your fun stencils from The Greetery, and your inks, too!

I managed to make two cards from one stenciled plaid panel - one will be shared with Color Hues, who totally inspired our color choices!

First up, using a fun little embossed piece of kraft-brown to represent the outside view from my window, and a few blooms from the The Stamp Market stamped in the featured Hues.

Keeping with the CH colors, I chose a few shades of Pinkfresh Studio blues, and Gina K browns for the 'greenery.'

Next, here is that little window I cut from the full panel!  and I finally found a way to love these blooms - it always bothered me that they had 4 petals!

This one makes my CAS heart happiest - but you'll have to visit the CH gallery to see which one made the cut!  Hey, you might as well play, too!

love Love LOVE how you used these colors, Michele! The plaid is a perfect way to combine the pretty shades you chose. It's hard to pic a favorite but I love the bold blue in the CAS. Both are great designs!

Ha! You picked the one I thought you would for the CH gallery, although both are lovely enough to make the cut. The extra petal on the vibrant blue flower is the perfect touch. Even though blue isn't really your thing, you came through like gangbusters (is that still a thing???).

Both are great love the blue and brown plaid and love your idea of adding extra petals to your flower. I agree with you 4 petals is a problem, but you found great solution xx

Nice use of the colors, sweet cards.

The plaid backgrounds look fabulous and those 'four' petal flowers are contemporary and pretty. What a wonderful colour combination and extra loving the embossing through the window on your first card and the extra petals on the second. Beautiful cards Michele x.
