Inspired By #178 - Dad's Meal

Hello my friends!  Thanks for stopping by today - it's Thursday, and time for another fun Inspired By challenge!  There are so many elements of this IB178 photo inspiration to capture, I couldn't decide where to start first - except for I knew in a moment I had to change the menu!

I'll have fish-fries for my Dad today!

I had a package of PTI glassine bags in the perfect size for my card front - just a bit of trimming to height, and it was ready to fill with some more of those fun Fintastic Sardines from The Stamp Market!  Pigment Craft Co.'s  Dashing Sentiments and dies took care of my sentiment - with a tiny addition, compliments of an old EH Polaroid die set - it's amazing how many words one can spell with those alphas!

Here are the wonderful Concord & 9th inks I used today!

I know the perfect guy for this card - and I also know a few card makers who will love this inspiration... is it YOU?

I'll be watching our gallery for your cards for those special guys in your life!

You've done it again. Whipped out a fun and friendly card using all the colors of the inspiration and, my favorite, FOOD. What an terrific idea to entice us with a smorgasbord of tasty fish. This card is the best.

This is so darn cute! My mother was a total fish and chips kinda gal and would love these little fish! She would roll open a can of sardines and have a go as she would say - I would leave the room...lol...Love how you used the envelope - and I love how you think!

Fish fries... are those like crunchy fish sticks? Doesn't matter, they're as cute as they can be all lined up in their glassine bag. I do love the way you think, this is awesome!

I'd rather have fish fries that french fries any day, Michele, although those are to fancy to eat. What an absolutely creative idea you had right down to stamping on the 'wrap".
