It has been FAR too long since I've played in any challenges - something I love to do! With these darling Holiday Gnomes and dies from Reverse Confetti in hand? how could I resist?
I'll show you a few of the cards I made using that set … this darling couple was colored while hanging with my friends in Wisconsin!
I can never resist adding my own flavor to sets using my play on words... not that there is anything wrong with the sentiments in this set! They are wonderful! But, sometimes, the words just must be said!
Also used: RC's Lacy Scallop Frames
Finally, a thank you card... get it? Thanks GIVING? for the challenge...
… and the inside sentiment!
I don't normally craft on Sunday, but I'm nursing a cold - chicken soup on the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu this week - plenty of hand-sanitizer in the craft room!
Hi ho, hi ho! it's off to the Stock Your Stash gallery I go!
Oh my, too, too cute! I have to admit that I don't have any gnome stamps....might have to remedy that, these are so cute!
These are just too too cute Michelle, would you believe I got this set out last night to play (Great Minds)! I do hope you are feeling better real soon, crafting will definitely help... and the soup
Well aren't they a snappy little couple! For some goofy reason I think of Vikings when I see them, must be the beard and braids LOL! These are all too cute for their own good Michele. Sure hope you FEEL BETTER soon XO
These gnomes, all 6 of the, delight me. Hope that cold of yours takes a hike, soon.
Your coloring makes these gnomes look much cuter, Michele! Ha ha ha~ I love your playing on words!
The background stitched die pattern is a very nice & interesting touch!
Hoping you feel better soon, my friend. Laughter is the best medicine, so you should read your own sentiments on your cards while having chicken soup!
Oh Michele, having a cold is NO fun. I hope you are feeling up to snuff (not sniffles) very soon. Your adorable gnomes sure make me smile. Your cards are fantastic. Thankfully your bug didn't affect your creative abilities! Slurp up lots of that soup and feel better very soon. You gnome what I mean? Hugs!
Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner, my friend! Your Gnomes are adorable, and I love every one of your cards :) Your backgrounds are fabulous and your coloring is just amazing, Michele...Love them all to pieces!
I hope you are feeling better quickly...As always, I wish I lived close by so I could bring you some homemade chicken soup :) Keep up the liquids and get lots of rest, sweetie...Big Hugs, Barb xx
I'm with Lisa. That red bearded one made me think Viking too. You've gotten your money's worth from that set, Michele, and the cards are all so cute.
These are both darling and a hoot, M, just like you! Great designs and sediments and I love that you gave them so much personality with your coloring! I so enjoyed meeting you and love the idea of you girls coloring in the hotel! True crafters through and through!! Hope your cold is better! Hugs, D
Just darling! and I love that you add your own humor to the card. YOu have a great sense of puns.
Oh my gnome-y love!! Of course, the whites are my favs, but they're all completely adorable. Love that stamped house background...you creative genius!
What delicious personalities you've given these little gnomes with your wonderful colouring, Michele ... they're all adorable! I'm in awe that you coloured during your time away ... such focus and dedication ... and what a treat for us! Hope you're feeling sooo much better by now! Hugs, Anita :)
