CAS[E] this Sketch #292

I've tipped Brian's Sketch #292 this week … but it's okay, I'm pretty sure he won't mind.

My Viking [he was a stowaway from my recent visit to MFT in Florida] needed a little more elbow room...

Attending Kathy Racoosin's Daily Marker Road Trip in Florida with Bobby, and Nancy was SO much fun!  This little lesson [using Copic blending solution and a scrap of terrycloth] Kathy shared has taken my mediocre coloring, and added such fun texture!

Now, you do know there are loads of inspiration from my teammates at CTS, right?  Let's go together... OH!  Why not try a new technique and join me at CTS this week?

=]  Michele

MFT Viking, and dies are available at Ellen Hutson, LLC - an affiliate link is provided at no cost to you... thank you for your support!  xx

Fabulous take on the sketch, Michele! Who would think of the Viking stamp for this sketch!? Love the woodgrain texture behind him and the clothing texture! Learning a new technique is always fun, isn't it?

Love your take on the sketch Michele! I would say this manly man needed more elbow room too. lol He looks amazing, you did such a great job coloring him. Isn't it amazing how a little blending solution on a terry cloth can give such wonderful texture?! I always think this is so cool every time I see it done. Love this card my friend. Glad you had a great time with your friends in FL!!! Hugs, Brenda

I recognized the technique right away, Michele, and it works perfectly for his furry vest. I need to borrow him to make a card for my Viking son.
