Crate n Barrel has done it again! FMS215

I've been looking for the perfect runner for my island. One that speaks Winter, but not just at Christmas ...

Crate & Barrel to the rescue!

A little purchase while visiting Lisa, and Deepti in Cleveland!

... you know it will inspire a few cards, right?

Freshly Made Sketches #215 gave me my first opportunity to use the little band of fabric that wrapped the runner - it was already backed with tape - all I did was pink the edges!

SSS provided the perfect ornaments ... oh!  There was enough for two!

You know I'm ready to do a bit of stamping to recreate that pattern ... thirds anyone?

That fabric is perfect and the first thing I thought of was a card design. ;)
I love the little stars you cut into the ornaments. Why didn't I think of that.

Yes please! Or as Oliver Twist said, "Please, [sir], may I have more?" Definitely 'scrumptious and luscious!' Beautiful runner, and way to upcycle the fabric band. Great and wonderful Christmas cards. Love these colors. You go girl!! Bev

Great up-cycling! And gorgeous cards - those ornaments are fabulous - can't wait to see the card you make using the pattern from the runner. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.

How fabulous that you could use the fabric from the runner wrapping!! Love your use of the sketch with the ornaments as the banner. The way you have tucked the sentiment on a little colored strip is a great look! Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

Thirds, Michele? Yes please ... and onwards! These are both so lovely (as is your gorgeous runner) ... the texture from the fabric is wonderful with the die cut ornaments! Love the aqua/red/white combo particularly ... sigh! Hugs, Anita :)
