I had a little look-see into my stencil stash yesterday as I prepped for a Fall DT card and came across one that didn't include flowers but seemed perfect for a little aimless inking - and that was just what I needed on a hot Sunday afternoon!
Darnell's I.D.E.A.S. is on week three: embossing. So, after stenciling I embossed... see what you think...
HoneyBee's Burlap adds such a lovely textile touch to my panel inked with
Berry Branches stencil from Papertrey Ink.
This sentiment is an oldie from a company I used to represent
called The Cat's Pajamas... I think Alma is now a digital company but
don't take my word for that... speaking of words.
I think the gals at WORD POWER #7 will love that sentiment!
and if not - how about Can you Handle the Pressure? They have an
option of stripes or checks - not sure if this fits the bill, but it is
always an 'anything goes' challenge!
WAIT maybe Stencil Fun?? Those gals make it too easy and FUN!
I see those 'berries' as grapes - ready for Lucy Ricardo to stomp!
I'm off to stomp out my dirty laundry - happy Monday friends!

The texture is fabulous on this card….makes such a difference! Beautiful!
We just re-watched (one of many times!) A Walk in the Clouds last night... crush the grapes, crush the grapes! This is pretty and yes, I do love that texture!
Gorgeous card, Michele!!! LOVE the stenciling, your beautiful color choices, and the burlap texture!!! Perfection, my friend!
Way to go getting three challenges in. Love the textured panel and the colors are perfection.
What a great effect from that embossing folder. I love it and those gorgeous rich colours. Perfect xx
Beautiful combination of colours and fab sentiment, such fun!!
Oh my goodness! This is simply smashing! LOVE the texture you achieved on top of the stenciling! And I wonder why I've never seen that sentiment before...I might need you to send me one for John's b-day because that's the ONLY kind of wine he makes! And he's the ONLY one who drinks it, LOL!
Love, love, love these embossed grapes, Michele! The sentiment is super fun!
That texture sure adds an amazing look to the stenciling! Love it, thanks for sharing with us at Can You Handle the Pressure!
Grapes. Berries. Whatever they are, they look wonderful with the embossing, Michele. And to fit three challenges? You go, girl!
I love that stencil--even more so in MERLOT! And the embossing over the stenciling brings it to a new level!
What a great texture that folder adds to your pretty card.
You had me at Merlot, fun fun card!
Absolutely GORGEOUS!! Haven't played with that stencil in a long, long time and you've reminded me just how pretty it is Michele!! And I love that embossed background too...the perfect finishing touch! Although the sentiment is pretty perfect too! Hugs. :0)
This is a beautiful stencil and I love the colours you've used Michele. Adding the embossing took it to another level. So creative and clever of you! Great work! xx
Love this. The stencil is awesome (sadly not available here in the UK otherwise I'd have bought it immediately!)
The EF has given it so much texture without being overpowering and the sentiment is fabulous!
Great job Michele.
I am in love with that burlap EF. What lovely texture. And that stencil looks wonderful with it. And the sentiment!!! Fabulous!
OH WOW this is just beautiful my friend! LOVE IT!! I thought that was done on linen card stock but how cool that you embossed after stenciling ... what a smart idea! Well done!! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our STENCIL FUN, WORD POWER & CAN YOU HANDLE THE PRESSURE challenges! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
