Hello, my friends! I have a very quick post for you because I don't want to miss the window over at Freshly Made Sketches #599!! I spent half of Sunday at one of my favorite gardens with one of my favorite members of the FMS design team - you'll have to visit me over at Instagram to see who!
It was fun to represent our day together using this wonderful Etched Greetings kit from SSS.
I stopped buying the kits years ago, but there were SOOO many birds included in the ephemera pack in this kit that I couldn't resist it!
There were a few Cedar Waxwings that couldn't resist a cool bath in our birdbath

Thud---that was my jaw dropping, did you hear it over here in PA? GORGEOUS! You had me at birds...and vintage...and warm country colors...and THE BIRDS in your birdbath! You are so lucky!!! What great photos!
Lucky you to have waxwings visit your bird bath. We just have sparrows, but they are such fun to watch. I love them. If someone walks into the garden a whole flock will suddenly rise up and fly off in a great flutter of wings. They are very entertaining. Love your card, great use of all those bits and pieces xx
How wonderful! You know I love anything to do with birds and this card brings out all the warmth and beauty of nature I find so comforting. It's beautiful with the sketch and papers. The Cedar Waxwings sure are appreciating your bird bath. They should be visiting us soon. I keep three bird baths and multiple feeders throughout the garden.
There are so many pretty elements in this card. And I love the simple touch of the raggedy edged vellum for softness. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

Every detail of this creation is so special. I love the vintage feel, the "torn" vellum, colors... and the pics are wonderful. Such great inspiration and results. Just lovely.

Your arrangement of the ephemerals are beautiful, Michele! The deckle edged vellum layers show your great taste of the card design. The Cedar Waxwings enjoying your birdbath are so cute!! I want to play with them in the bath. ;-)
