I was smart enough to get on the notification list at Altenew - their premier Press Plates were sold out before I could blink, and by now the 'refills' have been sold out as well! Mine arrived and I got them inky before you could say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
First pressed using Betterpress Mulberry ink:

There are two plates in this Altenew Dainty Flower Garden set - here's the second one that was begging for inky water-coloring!
Now do you see why I adore this set? Hope so! Of course, I adore all of YOU, too!

What a BEAUTIFUL plate and GORGEOUS cards Michele!! The two CAS cards are just so elegant and I love that your photographs show the "pressed" image so well! And your 3rd card that you water colored is absolutely lovely...loving all that color!! (and here you said you're afraid of color...I think NOT!!!) Hugs. :0)

Oh, my! Betterpress is definitely the latest and greatest and it's nice that more plates are becoming available. You do such beautiful work with them!

So happy you finally got your hands on this set, it was worth the wait! These are all pretty but the last one is my favorite. That bright pink with the wash of light blue is just wonderful!
Wow, wow, wow! I love these so much Michele. Yes, I can see why you adore these plates! That first bloom in the Mulberry ink color is so pretty, but then again, it is equally beautiful in black ink on the orchid. I love how simple and CAS these are with no color but the "pressed" color! But then you blow me away with the colored one...gorgeous! Hugs, Brenda

Clean and simple are even more fabulous with the BetterPress images, Michele. But then the painted ones are gorgeous too.
