I love this little Yeti from the Beast Friends set from MFT - it took forever for me to buy it, then promptly ignore it - until today! CAS Christmas' Winter Scene challenge made me use it at long last!
Here was my inspiration:
Believe it or not, this is our small lighthouse on Lake Michigan at the mouth of the
channel into Muskegon Lake! Surely looks like a Yeti to me!
So. Are YOU Yeti to start your 2022 Christmas stash? Here's my first:

You're the only person I know who is YETI for Christmas in October!
My Yeti was white heat embossed, water colored with distress inks, and then perked up a bit with colored pencil. The window was created with a VERY old c.2015 SSS Stitched Rectangle die which stitches both the inside and outside of the cut. I then added a little trail using another oldie SSS Stitched Slopes and Hills c.2014!
Gee. I sure hope it qualifies if I didn't mention Christmas on the outside of my card? LOL That's okay - I'm only here for the fun!

First, that picture is amazing. I've seen photos of other shore places coated in ice, and they never cease to amaze me! And I can see how it would inspire you to create a yeti...although I have to admit, this is the cutest yeti I've ever seen! Love his frosty attire! The little scene behind him is cute enough to stand alone, too!
Now that's a Yeti at the end of that pier(?)...you're right, it really looks I always thought they looked like. Think your little Yeti looks so much more friendly.
Oh my god, all that ice, it must be so cold. I would never survive. Your card is very lovely though, so simple and sweet, love the little touches of colour on your yeti and trees xx

Absolutely LOVE it Michele! CAS and it definitely says Christmas to me! And I would totally put the tree up in October if Chris wouldn't give me all kinds of grief about it, so maybe this card is meant for me??!! Haha!! Hugs. :0)

Your frozen lighthouse does look like a Yeti! Wow! What an awesome display of nature! Your version of Yeti is absolutely adorable and the scene you've placed him in as so sweet with the little trees!
You're inspiring me to pull out old stuff too, Michele. I have the circle dies and the slopes but haven't used them in ages. That yeti is adorable. The one on your card. The other one is amazing.

Adorable card, Michele. Love the delicate touches of blue and grey on this white winter scene. I also have these dies from SSS but I never realised they were old ones, they still are perfect and did a great job here for your lovely scene. And this picture, OMG, how cold it must be in your place, but it is just gorgeous ! x
