Paper savers unite!!

Today on Instagram my friend Melinda @itsacardknocklife shared her bin of scraps asking if anyone else shared her problem save-the-earth paper crafting style!  Do I?  Yes, I am a snippet-saver extraordinaire!

Let me show you how handy they are...

I'm so happy to have found that little perfect yellow cardstock in my snippet bin.
It's a wonderful match to DOX Scattered Straw with is the ink I
used to enhance my SSS Floral Field - which I'm sending over to the

OH, LOOK just enough left over for a double layer alpha!!

Perfect for my second snippets card - can you imagine throwing away
all that Paper Smooches love?

Thanks, Melinda for helping the rest of us show the Earth some love!
=] Michele

I know someone is going to ask about that LOVE - Paper Smooches is sadly no longer in business.  The trail of stitches is from MFT - also 'out of print.'  The U is from an Altenew alpha set.

I'm going to have to look into that daisy folder after seeing this, Michele! It's so cheerful and pretty! All the love on the second card is a perfect use of snippets! Good for you using some of them up!

So fun and cute! I save lots of little scraps too, but mine never turn into something as interesting as this!

Oh Michele, what a wonderful idea! I love it, but also fear I would be buried in snippets if I saved them all. How do you organize/store them? Do you just add them to your cardstock holders? I ADORE your daisy card. Oh my goodness, made me think of my mom (they were her favorite flowers) and smile. So thank you for that. I always enjoy seeing those stithed lines when you use that die. Great love filled card! Thanks so much for sharing, my friend. Have a great weekend!

Two perfect cards using snippets! Both are beautiful and inspire us to keep/use those snippets. I do keep them, but must admit it's the solid pieces I tend to use and not those die cuts "I thought I needed".

Fabulous use of your snippets and two happy and colourful cards Michele x. Such a beautiful and textural daisy embossing folder and 'love' all 'The LOVE' on both of your inspirational cards x.

I save every scrap because of little things like this. Oh, how I love your pretty daisies and all that sweet love and stitchy goodness! Two wonderful cards, Michele!

You had me at the yellow snippet and how you used it is ideal. Love the daisies of course but had no idea Scattered Straw was such a perfect match. Then to have just enough for your second "love" card is a real bonus.
My snippets/scraps are getting out of hand. Better go and get busy.

Fabulous! Snippets drive me nuts...mine have to be a least a certain size or they go to the round bin.

Once again, you are great at using snippets, Michele! I've seen you many times not wasting your paper and creating wonderful cards using the snippets. Love the design of the second card, especially the trail of stitched lines running over the die-cut sentiments.

Love this, Michele! I have drawers of my snippets, but don't think to use them to make a card. Thanks for the idea!

Very clever use of your snippets Michele, I keep loads but I do end up throwing out loads too. The first one is my favourite, just because it is daisies and I love daisies xx
