A Washi Christmas tree!

I so LOve and admire the darling washi taped cards I find around this fabulous card-making community!  I only have a few rolls .. I know, under the rock again!  I did pick up a cute little tube of them from Teresa Collins after Christmas last year, however.  When I saw the colors in the Colour Me challenge, I decided it was high time I tried a little washi card of my own!

Here is the fabulous inspiration photo for Colour Me - Striking CCMC #97:

How I resisted those poppies, one will never know - maybe tomorrow?  Here's my go at it:

I love this little Hero Arts sentiment .. and will NEVER stop believing in Santa - or at least the idea of him!  How about you?

Love your washi tape card... So creative.

My son told me the other day that he wants a Bengal cat. I said: "are you kidding son? That thing costs thousands of dollars." His response: "oh I'll just ask Santa to bring it to me"... Lol. Yeah good luck with that!

What a fantastic off the page Christmas tree, Michele ... great use of your small stash of washi! I also missed the washi boat ... my stash may just be even smaller than yours (4 rolls)! Santa ... since I was little, he's visited every year ... what's not to believe??! Hugs, Anita :)

I must be under an even bigger rock, because the only washi I have is a 'yuck' one that I use to anchor dies. Net result: zero washi cards from me! Your tree: only lovely! You've captured the inspiration photos perfectly! Believing in Santa: yes, yes and YES!

I'm under that same rock, Michele. 4 rolls of washi, 2 each of the same pattern. Three I won and one I bought. I'm not sure I've ever used them on a card. I do love how you've used it here to make a tree.

Okay...you are just amazing. Fabulous tree with all those tapes and the stamp. I am a washi tape mess...except as an envelope closure...then its just genius...lol.
