Freshly Made Sketches #705

Narelle is our Sketch artist for Freshly Made Sketches #705, and it challenged me in all the fun ways!

Very simple and CAS in my book - sometimes those are the most challenging of all, don't you agree?  But I had just the dies for it... and perfect timing as I needed
a 'get well' for my cousin who was struck by a car at the grocery store!

I found tipping it on its side helped with my design - Narelle won't mind a bit!

You'll remember that darling Spellbinders Sunflower my friend sent me?
This time I had help from Color Throwdown #841 to choose cardstock colors.
Narelle's 'strips' were created using a die from Waffle Flower Crafts: Nested Domes
and the sentiment is from Alex Syberia Designs: Tulip Treasures

We hope you'll have just the right supplies at your fingertips!  Come play!

Oh Michele! Be still my heart! With the polka dotty background, textured stripes and those rich, glorious colors, can we all stand in line to receive this one? No? Well, you're right, it is best to go to your cousin, and I hope she's on the mend soon!

These flowers make a beautiful sunflower and I love the woodgrain "pickets" beneath the flower! How awful that your cousin was hit at the grocery store. I hope she recovers quickly.

I am in love with those colors, and I love what you did with the sketch. That very subtle polka dot background is the perfect stage for your bold and beautiful sunflower

Another great sketch that I just love and it does offer up so many possibilities, such as your sideways orientation with that pretty sunflower in such rich and fabulous colors! I just love that extra little flower you added for an accent. Such a cute touch! Gosh, I'm sorry about your cousin!

I'm on the road, so I'm late to comment on this wonderful design! I love everything about it (again!) and have pinned it to remember this fabulous CAS design.
