Just us Girls #793

I'm only going to give you one guess why I HAD to play with Bobby's inspiration/moodboard challenge at Just us Girls... take a look:

If you guessed GREY, you'd be soooo right!

My first inclination was that fabulous window and I knew I had the right die for it.  After a little shuffle through my supplies, and I found the right 'recipe' for my card.  I hope they agree!

Mama Elephant: Four Window cover plate - cut from woodgrain paper
that I inked with Hickory Smoke and black soot.
Spellbinders: Woodland Tales vellum and Holiday Blooms dies for branches
Concord & 9th: Festive Blooms for orange berries
PTI: Vase Collection 12 - I modified the milk can making it a crock!

It has been a few days since I've shared - here are the next three Christmas cards for Bringing Smiles to Seniors: [thanks again, Bonnie for inspiring my playtime with that Wplus9 Joyful Poinsettias set!]

PTI Snowflake edger - Kristina's Finishing Touches [stitches]

PTI: deckle edge frames - Pinkfresh Basic Banners: Christmas sentiment

Waffle Flower: Round frame

I've counted and I'm at 161!!  And on that note, I bid you adieu!
=] Michele

Thanks, so very much Bobby!

I guessed right about the grey...do I know you or what?!! Your card is fabulous Michele! I love how you modified the milk can and those orange berries really POP with all the grey! Your 3 Poinsettia cards are gorgeous and I had to chuckle a little bit as I just had this set out yesterday, although it was the sentiments I was using. But anyway, we were somewhat on the same wavelength there! Wonderful post and wonderful cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)

What a treat to see not one, but four amazing cards today. Each one is gorgeous but the fall card is just a stunner! The scene in the window is perfect with the crock full of bittersweet berries. I do love bittersweet this time of year. Your Christmas cards will certainly bring a smile to some seniors faces. They're all beautiful.

Why did I not know about that vellum? It made a fabulous view through your woodgrain window and your crock of berries look wonderful sitting on the sill. Yay for adding three more delightful cards to your 'Senior' stash. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.

You are amazing...I don't think I will get back in the craft room for a couple years... this PhD has me swamped... but I sure will enjoy your cards!

Wow, you were definitely inspired by Bobby's mood board. Your window and the view is fabulous, as is the crock with the berries. It couldn't get any closer to the mood board. Your Christmas cards are stunning, as always. I know the seniors that receive them will definitely appreciate them. Thanks for sharing.

I've just done a huge catch up!! I can't believe your blog notifications weren't coming in properly... and I can't open them when they do. I may try unsub and then resubbing to see if that helps. I thopught you must have been cooking... and you have, but it's card recipes lol. Thank you for the inspiration, you are one very talented lady!
