Second Helpings of Spots, and Stripes!

When it comes to Christmas cards, I can always depend on Penny Black,
and Penny Black on Saturday to keep me motivated!

The PBSC challenge has an 'anything goes' theme, but in September there is that option to add spots and/or stripes... this 'new to me' c. 2012 stamp has BOTH!

Spots on her 'babushka' and stripes on her shirt and tights!

PB and her illustrator Mo Manning has called her 'ragged angel' but she's just perfect to me and worthy of framing on my card!

The 'wind' has blown a few sparkling snowflakes her way!
If we didn't have more than three flakes in Winter, I'd be very happy!

This little dear looks like she only wants to see three flakes of snow too! It looks like the wind is blowing cold. You have colored her beautifully! She makes me think of Dolly's Coat of Many Colors.

She is indeed beautiful! I'm always delighted to see an older PB stamp getting love. The frame and the snowflakes add so much to the scene. I feel the chill and the warmth at the same time.

She is just as sweet as she can be... looks a little chilly though! You've watercolored this perfectly too, great color choices!

What a sweet angel, and I see no raggety here! She's quite enjoying her few flakes and that beautiful frame - it's perfect!

Beautiful "ragged angel". She does wind blown and maybe is praying no more snow, 3 pretty snowflakes is enough. :)

Such a sweet image and you've colored her in one of my favorite combos, navy and lime green.

Beautiful ragged Angel. I adore Angel cards and Michele your coloring , is just gorgeous and you card stunning. Also I agree Penny Black at Christmas wouldn’t be the same without their stamps and Dies. 💖

OK, where has this girl been hiding?! She is adorable and water colored so beautifully Michele! I love how you framed her (she deserves it!!) and the added 3 snowflakes too! And yes, only 3 snowflakes per Winter would be just fine with me too! How are we supposed to travel back & forth with more than 3 snowflakes?!! Sweet, sweet card my friend...someone is going to love this one BIG time!! Hugs. :0)
