The latest Sketch #8 from Jill over at PB&J is spectacular - aren't they ALL?
As is usual, Jill shares 3 ways to use her Sketch but all of them
starts with a shaped die-cut - lucky me! I had just the shape she used!
Mine is from PTI called Love to Layer: Torn Edges.
My latest shopping spree included an adorable image from
Mo Manning called Gift of Love from 2012!! What I love most about
Penny Black's images is that they are totally timeless!
I couldn't wait to bring her out to play - I always follow the wonderful
images that PB gives us on their packaging but picked my colors from my
own collection of Distress inks:

Isn't she just lovely? I made sure to make her little friend a Bluebird!
This is a slapstick/cling red rubber stamp I picked up over at 1-2-3 Stamp... since it's new to me, I'm going to send it over to my friends at Penny Black Saturday Challenge!
Would you believe another order [this time, directly from Penny Black] just arrived? OH, the crafty fun that awaits me!

Another great card from PB & J, Michele. That girl is adorable and did I tell you I have bluebirds now? I wouldn't have believed they stuck around for the winter but I have had up to 8 at my worm feeder.
What a sweetie, Michele! You have done Jill proud with this layering! Of course she has attracted a bluebird. They are a perfect pair!
Oh my goodness Michele...she is perfection!! I love your color choices for her and how perfect that you had the die for the shaped card! Oh YAY! She was worth the wait Michele... I agree, Mo's images are timeless, so many sweet details... that bluebird, sigh!
Michele, she's so pretty and sweet and of course you had to give her a little bluebird! I love what you've done with the sketch. I haven't watched this video yet, but I love the peek-a-boo corner with the sheet music which is perfect, suggesting the bird singing to her. PB oldies never lose their appeal!
You brought such life to this wonderful stamp I can almost feel the breeze and I love her fun clothing so beautifully coloured. The card shape is fantastic is it a die I love it. !
