As you See it! #339

I could be wrong, but I think this might be my very first card for the As You See It Challenge?  Leave it to my friend LeAnne to show me the way to adding more fun to my day!  But seriously... did you think there was a chance that I could resist these colors and inspiration photo?

I don't have these particular SU! inks but I did find a few inks that will stand in for them... I did try so hard to capture the silvery bits I added to the leaves!

edited to add this incredible honor:

Thank you SO very much!

Here are the inks I used for the layered stencil coloring of this
Altenew: Graceful Gardenias.

You know my rule... when I have a new set, why not make three?
Here's a fun tri-fold card where I've pencil colored it in a more appropriate white...

and one other that was water-colored using Distress inks:

SEE!  I have been a little bit crafty!  Now let's see if I can remember how to link a card...

All of your gardenias are beautiful, Michele! The warmer colors and gray is a real standout! The white gardenia is breathtaking! And your watercoloring is beautiful as always! Three great ways to use this set, my friend!

I must say that I thought of you the moment I saw the As You See It challenge badge. You certainly translated the SU colors beautifully and your card is absolutely gorgeous. Love the lattice in the background. The other two cards are equally as beautiful. It's lovely to see you back in the saddle.

If my nose weren't still so danged plugged, I think I could almost smell all three of these Gardenia's Michele! I adore pink & orange together, so your 1st card couldn't be more beautiful! Love the silvery leaves and the die cut background too! Your white Gardenia in the tri-fold card is gorgeous...so simple and elegant and I love the embossed background on that one too! Your last card with the water coloring definitely shows off your abilities in that department my friend...absolutely STUNNING! So happy to see you creating again! Hugs. :0)

Whatever the medium, you have a way of bringing out the beauty in flowers, Michele. I have a different Altenew gardenia and have never been able to get a good white one. I guess I should try pencils next time.

All three of these are gorgeous, Michele, but I am particularly drawn to the first one. Is it the gray? Maybe :)

The gardenia was Mom's favorite flower and my Dad planted several bushes for her. All three are just gorgeous--the first card being spectacular with its color palette and shine!
