Penny Black Sketch #4 and #5

I ran out of daylight yesterday for photographing the second card I made using the PB&J Sketch #4 using those gorgeous Classy Frames.  I really dug deeply into my Penny Black stash and found very few of their floral stamps - something to remedy in 2025!  Have you been watching Jill's videos?  Her Sketches are easily adjusted to make every one of their darling stamp sets work for you.  Watch to see how she takes those Sketches in three directions!  Here is another one from me...

PB Bouquet Ballet c. 2019 - PB Classy Frames - Spellbinder EOM March 2023
and Betterpress sentiment

Sketch #5: Border Designs, arrived in my inbox and this one really speaks 'anything goes!'  It is a wonderful time to use those stamps that you don't have the coordinating dies for!

For instance, this darling Tulips for You from my stash... and I even found a way to make what I have work for the die cuts in her border!

Those banner hearts are from an old favorite company Lil' Inkers!  I decided
to leave the border color untouched for this one.  Another Betterpress-ed sentiment
and it was done!

I found an even OLDER floral in my stash - no dies for this one either... I have no clue whatsoever how long this MFT Jumbo Ric Rac has been in my stash, but I couldn't find one single vertical die to mimic that cutie Jill used!

PB Dahlia - MFT Dienamics Jumbo Ric Rac

We had even more snow overnight - I don't even want to know how much.  Though the temps have risen to a balmy 21 F.!  I will just stay in my cozy craft space until Spring!  Thanks for stopping by - your visits always help!

A cozy craft space is the very best place to be. You really don't want to go out in the snow. Just spend your days getting better and better at water colouring. I am really appreciating it. These are all wonderful xx

Three beautiful cards. Love the big floral bouquet and classy frames on the first one. The cute tulip girl stole my heart. Love the hearts on the side. The last one with the purple flowers and Jumbo Ric Rac die is lovely.
We had also had cold weather here in lower central Florida - it has only reached 50 the last 3 days - BRRRR. Stay warm and stamp away. :)

Amazing cards, and cute designs of course! You rock these PB images and layouts -- are you sure your name isn't Jill? As for me, I hope I'll be doing a bit of this soon...

P.S. We're in the low 20's too -- which means our snow isn't far behind! Brrrrrr

Love that beautiful bouquet and how you used the colors in the background too, Michele! And the tulip girl is so adorable that my fingers are itching to color one too. I especially love that heart on her pocket! And those purple flowers are so pretty! I'm glad to see you are making the most of your snow days. Don't you love how the birds get all fluffy in the snow?

23 degrees here this morning. So wish we had a fireplace! You are really killing it after your hiatus... All of these are so wonderful. Your watercoloring is fabulous as is your use of the sketches. I particularly love the little sweetheart with all of her tulips, and those tiny hearts on the side are the perfect touch.

You're nailing all these sketches Michele and I'm loving all 3 cards! The bouquet spilling out of the classy frame is SO pretty, and you know I love that tulip girl! The purple flowers with the zig zag strip is perfection too! Well done on all of these my friend!! Hugs. :0)

From beautiful to adorable and back to beautiful again! I love the first sketch most of all, but they're both timeless classics. What fun to see all your PB stamps, both old and new!

I hereby proclaim you to be the Penny Black Sketch Queen! And how could you know that jumbo ricrac die would come to such good use?

You need to come to my studio, Michele. I have more PB florals than any other images I think. And no dies means I don't use them often. Your cards are all so terrific. You've inspired me (along with Jill) to get some watercoloring done.

Three beautiful cards Michele. I love that classy frame filled with flowers. And the sketch is a keeper. Adorable with both your sweet little girl in her tulip garden, or the lovely mauve florals. I haven't had time to watch Jill's recent videos, but looking forward to soon. She is always inspiring! xx
