I always enjoy seeing January come to its end. February is short [okay I know it's only a few days] and seems to just fly by - or maybe that's just me?
I have two cards for two challenges today. It's CASE the Designer time at Just us Girls #760 - Sue's darling card was my inspiration - you know I still had all those Penny Black goodies out - when I went in search for a branch die from their Stocking Stuffers set, a light bulb went off... here's the result:
I had the sweetest little thing to hang from that branch!
PB Endearment [which I fussy-cut] and a sweet little moon from PB Moon and Back.
I watched Jill's Sketch #9 this morning and used her 'peek-a-boo' method
of 'tucking' my branch but left that darling moon perched on the frame. My frame is a little more ornate [PB Frame It] than Sue's but seems so perfect for this scene. Of course, you'll find the 'Love you to the Moon and Back' sentiment inside. You know there are stars - here's a closeup:
Thanks for the Shout out Carol!
One more card - for Freshly Made Sketches #671 from Judy. After plenty of thinking I decided that grass was perfect for the layers in Judy's Sketch... I hope she doesn't mind that I gave that circle a nudge...

Darling cards Michele and the Sue's branch design directing the rest of your first card's design is fabulous! The clean white frame and card base just showcase that sweet scene so well! This is frame-able art in my opinion! Thanks for always sharing your beauties with us at Just Us Girls!
That branch is perfect for tucking and the couple on the swing is so, so sweet! I love the layers of grass on the second card and that sweet couple watching the sun coming up or setting. Awesome coloring, Michele! I've really enjoyed your crafty energy. Don't stop...
Awwwwww...such magic in both cards Michele! I love the first one with the frame, branch, moon & stars...such a perfect setting for the adorable couple on the swing!! Your ink blended background with the grassy knoll is fabulous too on the 2nd card! Sweet, sweet cards my friend...I think PB needs to hire you!! Hugs. :0)
I love your take on both challenges, Michele! The way you've framed those little cuties in the swing is extra sweet and the grass was a great idea for those sketch elements. I'll put up with your crazy crafty energy any day... got any to spare??!!
Couple of super sweet cards. Great that you joined in at JUGS!
Nudge that circle hon, it's worked perfectly here! Looks like you have been having some wonderful crafty time, I love visiting you here, there is always an abundance of inspiration!
LOVE this darling scene, Michele, it just makes my heart go pitter-patter! So sweet!
Oh my goodness, two absolutely delightful and charming cards overflowing with your creativity and talent. Thank you SO much for sharing!
That couple on the swing is darling, as is the couple in the 2nd card. Love how you tucked the branch under the frame on the first card. Your ink blending is perfect on the 2nd with that cute couple.
One of the reasons I didn't get PB stamps was because I hate fussy cutting but you did a marvelous job, Michele. Those darling kids, whether swinging from a branch or taking a walk in the moonlight are so beautifully brought to life by you and your coloring skills.
There I go again, getting so caught up in the beauty of the cards that I forget to thank you for sharing one with us at Just Us Girls.
Such sweet card and I am very impressed with your fussy cutting, even doing the inside bits - respect. love the blended sky and sun on your second card too xx
Well, now, it doesn't get much sweeter than your first card with the swing and moon. OMGosh, my heart is melting! And the kids in the meadow with the setting sun... precious! It's so much fun to see what you do with these PB kids!
What absolutely sweet cards. I love how you used the grass for the three sections in the second one. Thank you for playing with my sketch this week at FMS!
Two swoon worthy cards and love how you turned the branch into a support for the swing. The little couple staring at the moon are so sweet such a lovely and wistful scene. The second card with the cute couple in the meadow is a delight the colouring is divine I just love that sunset its so beautiful.

Such precious images and so perfectly colored, too. Great "arbor" work with that branch, and I LOVE all of the grassy detail on the second card!
