You will all be so proud of me...I only bought one new Poinsettia this year to add to my collection... Ms. Debby Hughes provided some beautiful inspiration for that purchase! I'll link her card HERE.
With a bit more time on my hands these days, I will continue to make Christmas cards... maybe one or two a day? I'd love to fulfill the number needed for the Seniors who live in my area next year.
Here are my first two using SSS Poinsettia Swag - can you wrap your head around an orange Poinsettia? This time I stamped the image in Gina K Skeleton Leaves Amalgam ink onto Canson cold-press watercolor paper.
I found a beautiful Betterpress plate [SB Poinsettia Corner] in my stash that so well
matches this swag that I used it to deboss my background
panel... here's a better view of that:
The sentiment is from the SSS set and I treated myself to the coordinating dies
and a bit of splattering fun in Debby's honor with white gouache and gold.
The gals at Four Seasons might like the color of Fall!
Stamped in SSS Fossil ink on Canson cold-press watercolor paper:
... and the inks I used to watercolor them, left off the splatters, but cut
the panel down using a stitched rectangle from PF.
I won't lie - this is a very detailed image and a Poinsettia that has the most petals I've ever seen! But really beautiful. Hope you think so, too!

Oh I do think both cards are beautiful, Michele. Thank you so much for sharing! Happy weekend!
Both cards are gorgeous Michele! I can see why you had to have that poinsettia. I love it colored in orange tones, such a nice break from traditional colors. Your coloring on both is exquisite!!
Wow. That poinsettia is really gorgeous! I love all the colors (yes, orange) and the debossing is fabulous!
You have rivaled Debby with your poinsettias, Michele! The peachy-orange shades are so pretty with the matching debossing. How fun that they match so well! The second poinsettia spray is just as beautiful with the pinky-red colors. Only one poinsettia?
While I've never met an orange poinsettia, you sure know how to make them beautiful! Oh -- both these cards are fabulous, Michele!
I have never seen a poinsettia that is orange . But when you are designing a card anything goes. And both your cards look amazing as usual. Simple and clean looking. Have a marvelous weekend.
That press plate was made for your pretty poinsettia swag! I like the warm colors on your first one but the traditional red does tickle my fancy! Fabulous makes, Michele!
You have watercoloured them both beautifully. I really like the orange one with the debossed background, rounded corners and perfect splatters. Debbies card was clearly great inspiration. Her watercolouring is always so good xx
I can hardly believe you only bought one poinsettia this year, Michele. As for the orange, I can wrap my head around anything this gorgeous! Your watercoloring is sublime. You've given beautiful depth to the flowers on each card. I commend your effort in trying to reach the 300 mark. I wish you luck!
You were very restrained this year my friend... but who can resist a bit of enabling by Debby lol.
Both cards are gorgeous and I can totally feel the "Debby vibes"--spatters and all!
If you can only have one Poinsettia stamp a year, you sure picked a GORGEOUS one Michele! And as much as I love red Poinsettias, your orange one has me swooning! Seriously! I love the background letterpress too! Two lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)

Yes I can imagine orange poinsettias since I saw them for real, Michele. Remember I sent you the photo? You did a beautiful job of coloring them both. And yes there are a LOT of petals on that flower.
Such beautiful color schemes and sketches on both!
Thanks so much for joining us at Four Seasons challenge!
