it's real! But I'm thankful for my friends in The Group of Seven Cardmakers who quite often steer my path back to creativity! Thanks, ladies!
I have two cards using their current technique: Textured Backgrounds using Die-cuts. First, I had that wonderful pine branch my friend Bonnie gifted me when I visited her - it was easier to adhere them using SSS Micro Dot sheets as they are so very fine! Any residual 'stickiness' was dealt with using my powder tool.
I found a pretty foiled sentiment made at Marcia's house long ago
in my sentiment stash - it's foiled in red... I'll show that in a moment!
The set is from The Greetery and called Opposites Attract: Holiday [2021]
Every single card made by the team was gorgeous, but I loved
Susan's stars and found a nested set in my stash that had not been used this year.
I'm not even sure where I found them, but they are made by Ellentina.
Those stars were making me think of wishes and so wishing I did!
This one in die-cut glittery form is SSS c. 2015!
I think I'll save this one for my granddaughter whose birthday is just
after Christmas!
Thank you to each and every member of The Group of Seven for making my gloomy, cold, and snowy day brighter!

Gorgeous! I've enjoyed this technique with various dies, but it seems especially fun with smaller dies. You have a beautiful Christmas card, and the stars with a simple "wishing" is brilliant!
These are perfect. I love them xx
These wispy branches work beautifully for this technique, Michele! And the stars are perfect to wish on. Love that glittery wishing! Now you are inspiring us!
I love love love the backgrounds - may have to try it this week!
You achieved this technique brilliantly! Love that first one 😀
A wondeful technique which totally packs a punch, love them BOTH!
Oh so beautiful Michele! Wow!
I bought the die set last night , amazing you posted your card Michele for me to see it in all its Glory. I love it done in pure white it’s beautiful. Thank You for sharing. ❤️⛄️❄️🛷🎄⛸️
Both cards are amazing! Boy, I sure am glad you said you put those pine branches down with glue, I was positive that they were embossed! Both sentiments are great, but I missed the "moment" you show more of the sentiment, I fear
This is an absolutely wonderful rendition of the GO7 Technique. Beautiful work!
White on white is always so lovely and the images you picked work well to make classy looking cards, Michele. I have that 2015 die and haven't used it in years so thanks for reminding me of it. It looks perfect with the stars.
Two great cards Michele.. Love the Merry and Bright sentiment and background die cuts. Those stars make a great textured card also..
I like those wispy white pine branches, what a pretty card! I think your granddaughter will enjoy those fun stars and all of that crisp white. Two marvelous makes, Michele!
oooh what fabulous cards I'm totally inspired to give this a go,not sure how you managed to stick down those tiny die cuts without making a mess though I would have had glue everywhere. They looking stunning !
Marie
I just knew you'd come up with something WOW and you sure did Michele!! Both of these cards are GORGEOUS! Those pine needles are so thin I'm just wondering if you have any hair left?! Mine would have been pulled out and left me bald for sure, but oh my what a fabulous look it's created! Just that little bit of glitter on the wishing sure takes your 2nd card up another level too...love it! Lovely, lovely cards Michele and you definitely aced this challenge!! Hugs. :0)
Classic white on white beauties and that pop of red is even more gorgeous!
Gorgeous white on white cards Michele. Love the font of the sentiment, along with red foiled Merry on your first card. And the glittery wishing in silver is perfect for your star card ... perfect for Christmas or birthday! Thanks for sharing with us at Group of Seven. xx
These are gorgeous, Michele! That technique sure packs a punch! And I love your choice of white on white with the sparkly and foiled sentiments!!!
