My husband is out of the house for a little while - good thing for me as it gave me time to play with one of my birthday presents!
I'm happy to have these beautiful colors to influence my playtime - thanks Lynn, and Color Throwdown #818 ...
I received this single-layer stencil from a dear friend - thank you, friend! I immediately wanted to see if I could add depth with just ink... these inks in particular:
Tell me if I achieved my goal ... when I asked my in-house critic, he gave me
a solid meh. Having said that, I remembered that all of these colors would
undoubtedly look like green/brown through his eyes.
My hope is that the CTD team will indeed see Orange, Cranberry, and Moss!
Be sure to stop over to the CTD blog - Lynn and her team saw these
colors in the most amazing ways!
Thanks for stopping by!

Amazing, Michele, these are absolutely gorgeous colors for your new stencil!
So pretty, Michele. Mission accomplished in my eyes!

I see orange, cranberry and moss that make up a another beautiful poinsettia from Michele! What a fantastic stencil! Your friend knows you well!
I see all 3 colors perfectly Michele...too bad your in-house critic is color blind 'cause he's missing out! The coloring is GORGEOUS using this single stencil...LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)

Such an elegant Christmas card! Thank you for playing along with us over at the Color Throwdown!
At first I thought it was copper mirrored cardstock reflecting the light. Then I realized it's your amazing shading of the colors giving it a gorgeous glow. I'd say you hit the mark! I love that orange and cranberry. Scrumptious! My Rich doesn't differentiate between hues, tints, tones, or shades. Maybe shades a little. It's not his eyes, it's just him. Poor guy doesn't know what he's missing.
The colors worked beautifully with the stencil, Michele. Such gorgeousness on a simple card is rare.
I see those gorgeous colors! So rich and totally glam!
Dang, girl! This is incredible! Thanks for playing along with us at the Color Throwdown!
I didn't even attempt to try these colors, but you nailed it with a win! I can only imagine the poinsettia in traditional Christmas colors! Congrats, my friend!
