Second helpings!

It's been an age since I've made second helpings for a challenge - but 'tis the season, and I MIGHT be warming up my appetite for Thanksgiving dinner! tee hee.

If you look really closely, you'll spot my inspiration in the center-left
of this fabulous moodboard from JUGS#754...

Of course, it was the red ribbons and white packages that drew
me in... but look again and you'll see I found a way to
add the 'puffy jacket' of the little girl, too!

This big Bowtied die from Sizzix hadn't gotten enough of a workout this year.
This one was mounted on a very old Neat and Tangled tag.

This time, instead of 'blending' the shadows, I cut this one from two
shades of red cardstock.  I love the CAS-ness of this one on a panel of white
edged with PTI's Elegant Edgers: Snowflakes then faux stitched onto my card base.

Both sentiments are from The Ton's Easy Expressions: Holiday set.

Okay, playtime is over... that laundry is calling my name and I'm late getting it started!

Oh what a gorgeous bow, Michele! I love how you've threaded it through the lacy overlay atop the puffy quilting on the first card! Then I saw the second card and my jaw dropped! Love that snowflake edger! Two more gorgeous Christmas cards, my friend!

All three cards are awesome Michele! The details are NOT lost on me! That "old" Neat and Tangled tag is sooooo pretty too. Thanks for sharing all of these beauties with us at JUGS this week!

Wow, both of these are gorgeous! I just love the background on the first one! But both tags and bows are stupendous!

2 really lovely cards. The red and white really pops and that bow is very special. I have that embossing folder and haven't used it much, mainly because the pattern is quite large, but you have made it work brilliantly here. Thanks for the inspiration xx

A big red bow is a great topping for any gift and you've given us two, Michele. Both of those die cuts are beautiful and how creative of you to include the puffy jacket. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.

I have this bow and I just can't seem to make a single card that I'm happy with so I was delighted to see two fabulous cards utilising it. After seeing these beauties I will give it another go, thank you so much for the inspiration.
