I'm going to let the Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge #51 speak for itself this morning...
... I was particularly drawn to that top left photo - but you'll see my love of grey just couldn't be tamped down today so I borrowed from the steely blue-grey of the park bench below it...
Studio Katia provided the fireplace 'screen' that I backed with acetate...
My sign above the fireplace was made with a piece of washi tape that I've had for years - undoubtedly found on the clearance rack at Hobby Lobby!
Two of those sweet stockings that were a freebie die set from Waffle Flower were hung with care, and a bit of Spellbinders greenery and my card elements were mounted on another successful pressing of that Honey Bee embossing plate! It reminds me of the tin walls and ceilings of a favorite candy shop in Newburgh, NY!
I'd better get this one delivered to P.O.E. before I miss the deadline - thanks for stopping by!

I TOTALLY agree with LeAnne! You have the best "stuff!" That gray is gorgeous. Your scene is engaging and I love every detail you added!
The debossed background does look like pressed tin, Michele, and it's so pretty with the red stockings and roaring fire!
Just lovely! Do you happen to remember what color/brand of blue cardstock that is? It's such a beautiful shade.
Love the warmth in this one, and that background is gorgeous.
Such a nice scene: stocking waiting for presents. I like the acetate in the window!

There are those cute stockings again, hung by the fireplace and waiting for Santa! I do love the embossing that so closely resembles a tin ceiling. Beautiful!
Beautiful blue dry embossed background for your more traditional Christmas Fireplace and Christmas Stocking scene, Michele. TFS my friend. Happy Holidays...Nancy
Your card evokes a warm and cozy feeling, Michele.
Comfy, cozy and oh so dreamy, sitting by the fire admiring the stockings and warmth!
