Second Helpings for Color Hues #75!

I have a question - does purple rain make purple snow?  If only Prince was around to answer that question!  Color Hues and I decided to answer it for him...

Of course, it must!
I added a bit of Stardust Stickles for the magic of Christmas after
blending white card stock with CP Sweet Sixteen ink!
Don't you want to knock on that little purple front door?

I have the hardest time with that embossing plate - though it did finally
press perfectly, and it's so worth the fuss, there were LOTS of failed attempts!  Not so much with these wonderful 'old' dies from The Cat's Pajamas - perfect cut every time!

I have as many cards made for Bring Smiles to Seniors as I can as they must be delivered to their elves for distribution. I've fallen short of my goal again this year, but I know that each one will be appreciated just the same.

Now, I'd better get busy with those that I cannot share here!  See you on the other side!

Well in my humble opinion, purple rain does make BEAUTIFUL snow...snowflakes that is! What a sweet, sweet card Michele, with the beautiful background, the die cut house (with a sweet purple door!) and of course those gorgeous purple snowflakes! You made the challenge colors SHINE with this lovely card my friend...thanks for playing along with us at Color Hues!! Hugs. :0)

I'm not sure about purple snow from purple rain but your card is just gorgeous!! And that should be your new Christmas color palette because you use it so well!

Another beauty for the Color Hues gallery! I struggle with that embossing folder, too, but it sure is beautiful! And that purple door is the perfect finishing touch! Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!

What a loss to the music industry, but I am sure they do, if he said so!

I think Prince would say yes, especially ifnhe saw your beautiful card, Michele! The effort with the ef was well worth it, it's a perfect background for the pretty church (with the purple front door 💜) and the gorgeous purple snowflakes. So lovely to see you in the CH gallery a second time!

Love those colours and love that little village die. Rather than miss your goal again perhaps you should be a little less optimistic about how many cards you can make. Every single one of those cards is a little masterpiece so there is no reason to give yourself grief about not hitting your goal. Sorry lecture over. It is the sort of thing I have to tell myself all the time! xx

I can hear the quiet of this beautiful scene, Michele. Just fabulous... I believe Prince would write
another song about this conundrum...

Oh, my, so beautiful! I love all of it as much as a person ever possibly could. I must try to CASE this gorgeous creation. It's so perfect in the soft blue and purple. You did an amazing job with your cards for the seniors. 300 is a lofty goal and even a portion of that is quite an achievement. Happy birthday today, Michele!

I think snow might be more tolerable if it did come in purple, Michele. lol I do love your purple snowflakes falling on the lovely little village. And what a soft blend you got with the CP ink.

Bobby's comment made me laugh out loud! I'd like snow in any color - well except yellow....gorgeous snowy village!

I think the people who despise the white stuff might like a soft lilac a bit better. Thanks for the chuckle. Your card is gorgeous and it reminds me of your beautiful paper village you have shown us over the years. Thank you for joining us once again at Color Hues.
