Pinkfresh Studio March 2022 - take two!

While foiling those mini butterflies at Marcia's house, I had a thought...
what would happen if I foiled the negative?  You Glimmer-foiling-girls know what I mean ... seemed like such a lot of pretty to throw away!
Guess what?  it turned out pretty cool!  Okay not for use as a cover panel,
but check out what I did manage ...

What you get when using the solid plate is the outline of the butterflies - to those
you can add any color of the rainbow!  My rainbow just happens to be the colors from the Pinkfresh Studio March 2022 Challenge!
I used their Hexagon Label Frames to cut them out and there were just enough
to fill a Mini Slimline panel nicely.

Here's a little big closeup of that gorgeous Spellbinders Prism foil:

The wonderful sentiments come from the big brother Butterfly set.

They better fly now ... hope you have a great day today!

Wow! I think I'll need to add some of that foil to my next order! I love that you didn't waste any and the hexagons add lots of interest! Great sentiment too!

You've got to accentuate the positive but in crafting one never
eliminates the negative! PRETTY!

I've always hated to waste that beautiful foil and you've found the perfect way to use it, Michele. The little bits of butterfly wings on the hexagons is such a great design idea.

Such a clever and stunning way to use the negative foil. Did you use colored cardstock or color it yourself. I predict this is a winner.

You made a gorgeous card, using a negative foil piece, Michele. Good for you! You never waste anything! The amazing thing is that the card doesn't look like it's made of "left-over" pieces. Your creativity is the magic seasoning. (<-- I was thinking that you must be good at making delicious meals using left-overs.) Wonderful balance of the hexagon layout too!

You have now graduated to a full fledged Glimmer-foiling-girl. You did an awesome job with these hexagons, and a fabulous job catching the affect of that wonderful Prism foil. It's sold out all over the place, but it is in the cart! Just beautiful art, my friend.
