No challenge, no pressure, just a little stencil fun I had last Friday that I wanted to share with you today!
This card involves layered stenciling, and outline stamping with sets from Pinkfresh Studio! A gorgeous creation designed by Emily Midgett, called Miss Your Smile!
I stamped the slimline-sized image first, then layered lots of Distress Oxide inks with the four stencils that create just gorgeous shadows, and highlights to these blooms, and leaves... hope you like it:
I wanted to draw attention to this fun sentiment - from the Perfect Sentiments set of stamps, and coordinating dies that stamps, and cuts all
ELEVEN of the sentiments at once!
so I used just one of the dies from PF Braided Tags set to highlight it! Fun, right?
I also tucked a snippet of blended card behind it - it was destined for this panel!
So that's about it for today - thanks for stopping by! In other news, I'll be meeting IN PERSON one of my longest long-distance blogging friends on Thursday!! You'll have to wait for the reveal! OH I am being a tease today!
Stamps and dies linked to EH as they are completely sold out at Pinkfresh!
Sadly those Pinkfresh jewels are still not available - sorry to tease you again!
Distress Oxides used: Worn Lipstick + Coral Cabana for the pinks. Dried Marigold + Carved Pumpkin for the oranges, Peeled Paint + Mowed Lawn for the leaves!
You've done a fabulous job of hi-lighting the sentiment Michele and great that the co-ordinating dies cuts all the sentiments at once. What a beautiful card and the layered stencilling looks amazing x. Great attention to detail with popping the blended card behind the braded tag element x.
What a tease you are Michele....looking forward to the big reveal x.
Gorgeously AMAZING Love the stenciled flowers, and how the colors peek out from behind that diecut!
Saw this on IG and did backflips over it...hope I remembered to leave you a message or, at least, a heart. Think is is just gorgeous. Love the colors, the stenciling, the image and the way you called attention to the that sentiment. In other words, this is perfect.
Oh yeah, have a wonderful visit Thursday. YAY!
Absolutely GORGEOUS Michele!! Have the stencils but just ordered the stamp set so I can outline the image...too plain otherwise! But anyway, love the colors you used and the sentiment is fabulous too! Lovely, lovely card my friend, and have fun where ever you're headed off to on Thursday! Hugs. :0)
Love it. Another very clever card. What a great way to highlight your sentiment and of course you always manage to add an extra layer of detail..this time it is the panel behind the dots - genius. Enjoy your crafty get together xx
My goodness this is wonderful Michele! Those flowers are showstoppers - especially in those colours - and I adore the font of the sentiment and love the way you've highlighted it. Vicky x
So lovely my friend... and those jewels are one of my fave embellies, would you believe they are $50 a box over here, I did have to think about it (for about 30 seconds lol). ps can't wait to see who you are meeting!
This is insanely fabulous. That is all.
I think I say this quite often when I stop by your blog, but GOODNESS GRACIOUS is this ever pretty!!

gorgeous card...I love that stamp companies are being so much more innovative with their stamps and dies...keeps us spending our money lol.
Sending hugs across the border mf.
Love these oversized blooms and the way you've colored them so perfectly. A gorgeous card, Michele!
Wait, what? Those flowers are from a stencil? How fabulous looking are these flowers. Very cool! Love the colors you chose, too. The sentiments/dies are another fabulous idea. So fun to get so many from one stamp/die. Very efficient and the font looks great. Love the highlight of the sentiment, too. On top of all this fabulousness you are getting to meet a real live friend in real life, too? That's just a cherry on this wonderful sundae! Enjoy, my friend, enjoy! :)
This is wonderful, Michele. I thought of getting some of those stencils with my PF win but didn't. I also thought of the sentiments but couldn't really tell the size and thought maybe they were too big. You've proved me wrong on both counts. I'll be happy with what I did get though.
This is one glorious splash of colors! Layered stencils are fabulous and you wrangled them perfectly! Must check out those sentiments! And I can't wait to see who you are teaming up with next!
Gorgeous and perfectly executed. That braided tag is one of my favs but I've never thought to use it horizontally. Duh. LOL!! Best of fun on your secret meet up tomorrow.
I do like and I love the depth of colors with the stencils and the creative way you've done the sentiment! Another beautiful card! Can't wait to see who you get to spend time with.
Oh it's beautiful!! I am amazed by the stenciling! And what excitement to be meeting a long distance friend Whoo Hoo!! Hope you had a brilliant time
Wow, the stenciled and outline stamped flowers are gorgeous, Michele, but I’m more impressed with what you did with the sentiment!
The dimension, the frame, and the colors showing thru the dot holes! You’re so clever!
I hope you had a fun date with your long-time friend on Thursday!
The flowers are GORGEOUS!! LOVE the look of stenciled colors. And the sentiment, especially with the way you highlighted it, is just right!
Wow! Beautiful layers, and very impressive! I can't seem to line up anything that "layers" so, my hat's off to you, Michele!
The sense of depth you created with your layered stencilling is gorgeous, Michele ... such a beautiful arrangement! Love how you highlighted the sentiment with the pierced dots! Hugs, Anita :)
