There is a cute little bush, that grows near water or wetlands, called Buttonbush - this Fall Floral set from PTI reminds me of it! I've take liberties with their color!
I've had a bit of fun with a few of the Distress Oxide inks that just didn't want to get put away just yet... here's a look at my fun day using Evergreen Bough, and Peeled Paint...
This little playtime sure did help me get over the hump ... hope it brings a little pleasure to your Wednesday, too!

these are all so amazing Michele, makes me want to get out my colours and play... shame I have to go to work lol.
Wowza...those are some amazing dies! And GORGEOUS colors...love that Stormy Sea color, it's my FAVE! I have to admit I have never heard of the button berry, but they sure are cute!
Oh boy are these fabulous or what! I love your pretty little button bush cards, especially the color you went with. And your slimline card is ever so lovely. I think you flattened that hump today and cruised right over it!
LOVE all three and especially the color combos!! And what a neat name for that bush...it fits perfectly!! Glad you had fun playing with some oldies...it does the soul good sometimes, doesn't it?!! Hugs. :0)
Three lovely cards today Michele! I love the color palette you've used. Fresh and beautiful!
Beautiful set of “just for fun” cards. I love this color combination.
I don't think I've ever seen that bush...it sure is neat looking! And your cards that remind you of it sure are pretty! I love the combination of those colors, especially on the leaves on the first card. The third card is equally beautiful. Wow, Michele. Love to see your creativity! Hugs!
Wow, you've been busy since I last came to visit! Love these colors and the sweet button bush! I've never seen one of those so I doubly enjoyed seeing both your created buttons and the real thing. And those leaves are breathtaking! That bit of yellow lights them up!
Well, golly. You play session with those ink choices turned into quite a lot of really fabulous art work. Couldn't pick a favorite if I tried. I see how inspired you were.
It has brought lots of pleasure to my Thursday. Your third card is my absolute favourite. Everything about it is perfect xx
Lovely cards, Michele, the colors are awesome, and the dies equally so! Your creations always make my heart happy
I love how you used the button bush for your inspiration, Michele. I have never seen a bush like that..so pretty with the button like blooms:-) I love all 3 of your beautiful CAS card designs and color combos. Such a fun creative Wednesday for you and for your followers:-) TFS Love and Hugs..Nancy
What a pretty 'real' buttonbush in the Fall....I had never heard of one before x. You sure looked like you had fun Michele and all three cards are wonderful. The slimline card, with the mop up of the inks looks amazing x.
Fabulous cards, clean lines nothing superfluous. Love.
I can't wait until I get to my 'new' studio so I can sit down and just play. I hope my cards turn out half as fantastic as these, Michele.
That is what I need is some playtime, so many other things always seem to get in the way. Beautiful cards with serene messages! xo
Love your take on the Buttonbush, Michele! Beautiful color palette and design on both cards :) I am so impressed with your 'mop up' to add color to this gorgeous die-cut, too! Just got mine in the mail today and I can't wait to play with it ~ Thanks for your inspiration!
Had to look up buttonbush, Michele ... it's native to the USA and I've not seen one IRL (yet!). What a fabulous shrub ... your cards depict it beautifully ... they're so fresh and pretty ... and what a lovely colour combo! That last card is a stunner ... you took mop up and made it oh so special with that yummy die! Hugs, Anita :)
I just adore these colours and your cards! Always such amazing designs but I confess that the last one has me swooning!
I think I am in lo e with the Button Bush! These are adorable!
A wonderful trio of fall florals, Michele! Love the unique designs and the beautiful color combos! A bit of gold for the berries (3rd card) is a really nice shiny touch!
Wow, loving all these cards Michele! The two DIO's are so pretty together. I don't think I would have put these two together, but I am so loving them together! I don't have all the Oxides yet, and clearly I need them. One day...You always bring life to your cards Michele, they are always stunning! I was just showing your cards off to a friend of mine yesterday as we had a little play day. We just don't have the knack, but we sure had fun playing trying to make different backgrounds! Hugs, Brenda
Really beautiful cards mf...
I am really missing my crafting time but I'm so busy with my 5 littles I just don't have the time.
Hope you are doing well.
