CAS[E] this Sketch #389 Retro Week!

It's Retro Week!  and for the life of me, I don't remember this Sketch... I'll have to revisit that post from January 2019 to be sure I played! lol  Maybe I'll see you there, too?  ahhhh now I remember!

I've taken a totally different tact this time ... I must mention where my inspiration comes from: my friend Linda Callahan's darling ocean of fun!  Go see, I'll wait...

Here are the Distress inks I used for my waves, made
with a new MFT Ocean Motion stencil:

Hope the recipient doesn't end up sea-sick!  Been there - ugh!

I'll see you over at the CTS blog where I know we'll find oceans more fun...

Such a fun card. The inspiration card looks wonderful. I like your ink blending where you can see the colors a bit lighter. I also really like the stripes on the bottom of the letters. That whale on the inside is super cute. Great card! Hugs and Happy Weekend to you!

Gorgeous blending! It looks so serene. I'm not one for vertical sentiments but when done with large lettering like this I might be able to pull it off.

PS : I have you to thank for pointing me in the direction of the Sugar Pea bears.
I love all your 'bear' cards and how you show off his versatility so well. I have a feeling it's going to be a well used set. Apart from one of the sentiments of course, that the dog has already managed to chew up!! ;o)
