An Autumn Wedding!

I'll be traveling to meet crafty friends in October … but, sadly, will miss a wedding because of it.  That calls for an extra special wedding card - AND gift!  I used their lovely invitation to create such a card... Snailed It!  and the coordinating dies provided all extras needed to make it special.

The kraft paper, stamp, and darling photo
have been repurposed from the invitation.

I created a photo pocket for the card … just in case they'd like to swap this out for one from their wedding day.  My card is also a nice 5x7" 'frameable' size.

Of all the things there are to love about Autumn, the colors, and woodland treats are among our favorites … what more beautiful time of year to begin a life together?  you're likely to be happy to see I left off the snail... lol

What a sweet idea! I just did this for a friend (and forgot to post it, duh!) but yours is much sweeter. Just LOVE those dies...especially the frame one! And what a fun idea to use the stamp from the envelope---you're so clever! They will love it!

What a lovely card/gift idea, Michele ... beautiful framing around the photograph ... clever use of the postage stamp ... and your little cluster of woodland plants and blooms is a delight! Thought the snail might have been hiding among them!! I'm sure the crafty friends you're meeting will appreciate you giving up the wedding to see them! Hugs, Anita :)

Wow Michele, I love how you personalized this wedding card! It is so beautiful. I am loving the size as well but what is really cool is that you made it so they can swap out the photo for a wedding photo! Very cool card indeed and I know the happy couple will love it and even forgive you for not being at the wedding. On a happy note, so happy you are getting together with crafty friends! Hugs, Brenda
