The Paper Players #756 - CAS watercolor!

I knew I would have to set aside a little bit of time for The Paper Players challenge #756 - Jan is asking for CAS and water coloring: two of my favorite things!

I still had my box of Wplus9 supplies within easy reach and since it's butterfly
'blooming' season 'round here their Flora and Fauna 3 set called my name...

It was very hard not to add a trio of sparkly Pinkfresh gems to this - but
I am keeping it CAS with no embellishments and just a little dimension from
those 'flutterbys!'  This 'tag' die is an oldie but goodies from Neat and Tangled.

You know I couldn't ignore the bird in the set, right?
Color Hues inspired my water coloring for second helpings:

A new Penny Black die came home to roost!

They're winging their way to the appropriate galleries!

Another absolute beauty, Michelle! Those butterflies are swoon-worthy, especially against that filagree background - so elegant! Thank you for joining in with my CAS Watercolour challenge at The Paper Players.

As much as you love gray, you made these white backdrops sing with your delicate watercolored butterflies and bird.

Your watercoloring on both cards is fabulous Michele. Love the pretty butterflies on that lovely tag die and that bird & flowers looks great in that lovely frame.

Absolutely two stunning cards Michele. I adore birds so that is my favorite card 💖. I love the color you chose also.

You have made me love this set, Michele! You always use it so beautifully! The butterflies are so pretty on this lacy tag and the bird fits perfectly in the circle frame! I'm glad he is gracing the Color Hues gallery!

I don't know which one I like better, the butterflies or the bird... oh heck they're both marvelous!

I am hard-pressed to say which one is my favorite, as they're both beautiful. The diecut background on the first one is amazing, but that circular die on the second one - WOW! Of course, the watercoloring is stupendous as well! You did our CAS challenge proud!

I saw a Monarch yesterday flitting around the milkweed I told you about, Michele.. I'm surprised you didn't paint yours to match but they are lovely in the blue and purple. I love the bird inside your new frame. I need to remember to check when I get home. I think I have that stamp set.

Two terrific water colored cards, Michele! I am always so enamored by all the gorgeous dies you have. I especially love the braided circle encompassing the beautiful blue bird. Thanks for coming back to Color Hues for your second helping.

I thought I commented on these gorgeous cards yesterday, but I realized that I got lost on ebay searching for that Neat & Tangled die... LOL. Both of these cards are GORGEOUS. The colors are so wonderful as is your watercoloring. I love that PB frame too. I think I need it and I don't have to find it on ebay... or not find it.

You are both the queen of CAS and watercolouring Michele - these two are stunners! I love the simplicity of the butterflies against that pretty die and the bird amongst the flowers is gorgeous too - and what a great new frame! Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!

Every time I see your beautiful watercoloring I think to myself "Jules, you need to try that again." And then I don't. LOL!! Beautiful cards as always. Thanks so much for playing with my colors here at Color Hues!

I chuckled that you didn't add three gems to your TPP challenge card. I hesitated but did add them to mine. This is one of my fav of your cards this week, the bird is wonderfully colored and positioned in that new braided die and the Plus9 set is gorgeous as you've used it. Stunning, Michele!
