Hello, my friends! If it seems like I'm around a little less these days, you'll know I'm knee deep in Christmas creating! However, I did a little clearance shopping recently at HoneyBee and this gorgeous Plumeria layering die spoke to me... by the way don't give me any credit at all for the colors I've used today as I unabashedly followed HB's lead on their packaging/layering guide. Always a good idea for the first use in my mind.
Here is a little summer on a gorgeous fall day...
The Lil' Inker Quilted Spirals plate is no longer available but still
adds just a bit of movement. A smattering of Aura sequins from Spellbinders,
and a stamped-at-Marcia's sentiment cut in a circle found the perfect spot.
That gorgeous green cardstock is from Concord & 9th: Eucalyptus
I added just a kiss of The Stamp Market's Fern ink to add depth.
The blooms were all cut from Bristol paper with a bit of Pigment Craft Co.'s Seagrass ink.
And now for a few of those winter Christmas cards... Penny Black, of course...
Sharing a Song: 2016 and one of their Double Frames dies
Cuddle Up, Merry Boughs, and Triangle Pattern EF
5X7 Cuddle Up, Merry Boughs and a sentiment from PFS Poinsettia frame.
I've also been harvesting green beans grown on strings from ground
to the top edge of our deck - after a very slow start, we are getting lots of yummy
stringless green beans! Plus, I've made 4 batches of hot pepper jelly with
the cayenne pepper pots on my deck! Hot as heck but just delicious!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Lovely new purchase - beautiful floral designs! And those Penny Black kids are always charmers!
Oh, this is pretty and I'm loving the eucalyptus cardstock! Three sweet Christmas makes too. Those little kiddos are just darling. You've been busy ~ card making, jelly making, bean harvesting!! Way to go!!
Your Honey Bee card is SO pretty Michele and the color palette is just too pretty not to CASE! Smart decision!! And look at you using sequins...I love it!! The font on that sentiment is one of my favorites and it gets used a lot...glad it worked for your lovely, lovely card! Now onto your PB cards...oh my gosh girl! All 3 are frame worthy!! Your water coloring with all the color and then the simple white backgrounds make your cards stand out every. single. time!!! Beautifully done my friend...I didn't want your post to end!! Hugs. :0)
Stunning first card and ever delightful watercolored Christmas cards. So in awe of your overall talents. Hot pepper jelly, too? Wow!
What a fabulous post, filled with awe inspiring cards! Each one is truly breath taking. The PB images couldn't be any cuter. Your water coloring skills are beyond what I could ever imagine myself being able to do. Every card is wonderful, my friend.
Micbele, these are fabulous cards and continue your sweet nostalgic tone. Your first card is quite gorgeous.
This plumeria is gorgeous, Michele! I'm loving the shades of green and the sweet flowers! Your three Christmas cards are so adorable and watercolored beautifully! How nice to have fresh stringless beans! Yum!
Your Plumeria card is gorgeous Michele. Love the pretty flowers and lovely shades of green. The background is lovely too. Your PB cuties are adorable and your watercoloring great.
Your PB cuties are just as cute as they can be with your wonderful watercoloring Michele. That new die is gorgeous in the colors you chose. Reminds me of the vintage roses that would also look great in these colors.
We HAD a plumeria tree in our front yard many, many years ago and your card brought memories back of how wonderful their fragrance was. So pretty! And your PB cards are always a delight! Sharing a Song was one of my faves to color, when I still had the desire to color. Love them all!
Gorgeous cards Michele! I love the plumeria as I have 4 in my yard and they are just starting to the first leaves for Spring/ Summer. And of course the PB Christmas cards are just a delight! These little images are so sweet and so beautifully coloured. Hope you've had a lovely weekend! :)
Your new plumeria plate played well on its first outing, not to mention those PB cuties! While your first is perfectly ink-blended, the other two are quite perfectly painted -- exactly what we expect to see when it comes from your craft room, Michele!
Enjoy the string beans (we're enjoying ours too) and pepper jelly, which I haven't made for a few years but thinking you may have just inspired me (with my poblanos and jalapenos?)
Oh that plumeria made me swoon! Such a wonderful die set, and I do love the pierced background. You Christmas cards are adorable. Love all of the sweet images, and your coloring is wonderful as always.
