What's a few challenges between friends?

I was very happy to see my friend Bobby is the 'guest elf' over at Christmas Kickstart #97 - she chose Poinsettias as her theme!  It couldn't come at a more perfect time!  Another dear friend sent a whole collection of Pinkfresh Studio products from one of their Create and Connect sessions.  I fell in love with this one called Joy of the Season that included a press plate with POINSETTIAS!  Having said all that, here is my first playtime:

It's a little homage to a photo that Bobby sent me of ORANGE Poinsettias that she
found at her grocery store - ever since, I remember to include orange Poinsettias to the Season!

Here's another more CAS take on that set:

It wasn't one bit hard to use the colors from Jo's challenge logo:

Speaking of orange flowers - I did mention there would be more tulips, right?  Here are a few more orange tulips for Jules over at Color Hues #107  I loved using another new die from Penny Black called Curvature:

My second time using this set.  This time I die cut the tulips, then stenciled,
and finally embossed with the 3D EF.  It did make using the stencil layers
a little easier.

That's all folks - for now!  I hope you made it over the hump without injury or bother!

I always love seeing your orange poinsettias and the red ones too. What a great press plate and beautiful cards both ways! Love those orange tulips too! The dimension and texture from the embossing is fabulous! I love that you did them in the Color Hues colors!

I have never seen an orange poinsettia. I'll have to be on the lookout. I do that that press plate. And I adore your second helping tulips. I can see the dimension on the the flowers. So pretty! Thanks for filling our gallery with beautiful cards!

Such much good stuff to look at! The tulips are breathtaking, but those holiday cards really make me smile!

I'm amazed at the crispness from press plates--and I'm loving those orange poinsettias. And the Curvature dies fit nicely in your crafty hands! No doubt we'll be seeing more of it on your projects! And yes, you've enabled me to get the tulip set when I didn't think I needed another! ;) Thanks for the tip on cut-stencil-emboss--can't wait to try it!

A plethora of orange and a little bit of red today... I'm smitten! Gosh, I love the look of your first card, sigh, and those PB tulips. I'm being ridiculously self-disciplined making myself wait, but I have so much PB yet to use. You/the tulips/the Curvature die -- perfection!

That poinsettia swag is beautiful in both orange and red, Michele. Thanks for sharing at Christmas Kickstart. The orange tulips are so lovely and dimensional. Gotta love an embossing folder with stencils and dies.

These are all incredible. The first Christmas card would work well at Color Hues too. Love the muted oval teal color so much. Happy to see more tulips as well. Gorgeous design once again for all three of your cards. Thanks for coming back for seconds at Color Hues.

I was worried for you... I thought you wouldn't be able to find a Poinsttia (wink) lol. These cascading blooms make my heart happy!
