CAS Christmas Card Challenge: kraft & red

I just adore a kraft with red card at Christmas!  It has such a homespun, Christmas in the country, feel about it!  I'm happy to join the ladies at CAS Christmas celebrate their 3rd Birthday today!

I've decided it was the perfect time to use my stash of Colorado Crafts sets again.  This little critter [from Wonderful Time] is taking his warning [from Christmas Presents] quite seriously, don't you think?!

Do you know what else I love with kraft and red?  Brown ink - today from CP icing on the cake
Do you know that those inks are Copic friendly, too?  Which was my coloring-medium of choice today.

I am taking the CAS design idea quite seriously, too!  Happiest 3rd Birthday, ladies!

=]  Michele

the stitched die is a set from a friend - unmarked, sorry... maybe Poppy Stamps?

This is perfect. I love that frame and the image. No, I didn't know that CP inks are copic friendly. Thanks for the tip, I have loads of CP inks and never thought to try them with alcohol markers xx

He looks friendly enough but I would NOT try to open that gift. I do heed warnings, judiciously. You've taken that color combo to new levels with this adorable card. I smell, not only a rat, but a winner.

This is sooo cute, Michele! The little mouse is keeping an eye out so that people like me won't open the gift before the 25th. ;-)
The stitched frame makes a great accent, and the lightly sponged background is a really nice touch! Thank you so much for sharing with us at CAS Christmas!
