Altenew's Focus on You proved to be a good choice to create my sweet swag in the 'window' for the July Inspiration Challenge this month:
I think it adds just the right touch of country farmhouse style to my card:
I was very fortunate to have a win recently - I couldn't wait to spend that Altenew gift card on their newest layering die set:
I have to credit two gals for their help in the creation of this card: first Erum Tasneem for her tutorial on water coloring paper for the layers. Second: Coni Longley for showing me how to arrange them! Thanks, ladies!
Thank YOU all who are kind enough to stop by, and even more for leaving a little love! If you have questions, leave them in the comments below - but be sure to also leave your email address, please.

The embossed panel of orange is a die from Wplus9, called Stitched Ironworks background.

2 lovelies! I like your contrast between sweet and soft and bold and bright today with them!
Beautiful cards! Jo x
Lovely cards Michele. The first is fab with the green squares. Your tulips are amazing.
Gorgeous! I always forget about that Altenew challenge, and I just got some new goodies...you've inspired me (but you always do that!)!!!
Absolutely gorgeous my 'old friend'... maybe one day we'll meet at the Altenew shop? or you could come round and borrrow my stuff!
such gorgeous-ness, Michele! Love the tulips!!
Gorgeous florals.....gorgeous cards!
Does Altenew have an actual store? Forget I even asked!! Your cards are beautiful Michele!! Love your inspiration card with the "windows" and the swag...perfect for the challenge and I love the colors too! And your water colored card is AMAZING!! All that bold color...love it!! Well if they do have an actual store, count me in for the road trip!! Hugs. :0)
These are both as pretty as they can be! So happy to see you using those tulips you wanted and what an amazing job you did. But that first card is right up my alley, golly I love everything about it!
There's an actual Altenew shop? Eek! :o)
Love your cards.
The first one is so soft and elegant
and the second so beautiful and vibrant.
You're equally at home with both styles.

Congratulations on your recent win. Very exciting. You did an outstanding job on both cards. So elegant and beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing! Hugs!
What a gentle, beautiful and delicate first card and so very pretty Michele x. A stunning second card. The layering dies look fabulous and so are your colours....A real stunner of a card x.
Love these layered tulips! Beautiful colors! The sweet window with the dainty flowers is so soothing and sweet! Love the way you've used these colors! Remind me again what kind of watercolor paper you use?
Beautifully done! I especially love the first one.
Think you have another win coming for your first card...those subtle window panes with the delicate flowers is so lovely. And then you call me out...so grateful for your appreciation. You have done yourself proud with those tulips. The coloring and background and, of course, your spot on arrangement is gorgeous.
Michele these are both so lovely! We need to have an Altenew party I haven't had mine out in a while.
Wow, that's amazing and gorgeous! Love the colors, and layers too
Congrats on your win at Altenew! Two GORGEOUS cards, Michele! Love your take on the 'swag in the window'...your soft green window panes are perfect for the mini blooms and I love how you arranged those fabulous tulips! Thanks for inspiring me to get out my Altenew goodies for a play :)
Love the simplicity and artsy design of your old friends card, Michele. Stunning die cut layered tulips and bright happy colors. Congratulations on your Altenew win. Stay safe and Creative my friend. Love and Hugs..Nancy
These are wonderful, both so different but so good. Love that blog and splatter background on the first and the bold colouring on the second xx
What lovely flowers against the windows, Michele! I liked that you used the mint green for the windows instead of leaves! The spatters are a wonderful finishing touch.
The layered tulips are BEAUTIFULLY watercolored! The stitched background echoes the curvy lines of the flowers and are pleasing to the eye.

If you want to go to Syracuse, I'll go with you, Michele. They still have a few things I don't have in my stash. Like those fabulous tulips. Great color and lots of it. Love to see you pile it on.
