I won't even have to tell you how I was Inspired By this week! But I will tell you that I'd love to have every linen, pillow, and morsel of this breakfast in bed! =]
Here's my card for Inspired By... rainy day coziness, our 14th challenge!
I cut a piece of water color cardstock in three random pieces, white heat embossed similar patterns to a few of the pillows, and 'knitted' the gorgeous afghan, too! Then added a wash of Distress Inks similar to those colors in the photo. A really different design for me, right? But such fun!
What more fun could one have on a rainy day, than splashing in a few puddles?
How about showing us your idea of a perfect rainy day? We'll be watching...
=] Michele
Supplies:
SSS Abby's Spring Showers - for the words
Distress Inks: Broken China, Chipped Sapphire, Hickory Smoke
TH water color cardstock
Hero Arts white embossing powder

Oh this card hits my "like this very much" zone, Michele! The colors and the patterns are perfectly reminiscent of the pillows in the photo. I have to say that you've captured the lovely in-bed-reading-a-good-book feeling. What an awesome card! Btw...have you seen our Spring? It seems to be nowhere in sight! Bev

So this is what was on your desk for the CTS card? Or vice versa. Definitely not your norm but so artistic and beautiful, Michele. And you just happened to have the perfect pillow pattern.
