ahhhhh yes! another gorgeous moodboard to craft to, and another fun challenge from our friends Diane, and Darlene! Triple B: birds, butterflies, or blooms - seems like a no-brainer to me! You can always find one of these around here!
Congratulations, Darlene & Diane!
This little birdy from PTI is one I always borrow from Marcia when we gather - but I just had to make room for him in my home permanently! I went a little brighter with the colors, but surely you can spot my inspiration in that moodboard?
I wanted a little bit of texture to break up the white space - is anybody else reminded of broken eggs? Just an added little aqua twine for his perch, and a fussy-cut sentiment from an Altenew set which seemed made for this guy!
I spent the best part of my day with Marcia yesterday - such fun, I'll share more about that soon! I'd better perch this one-of-a-kind bird in that Triple B gallery!
Thank you for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Such a wonderful and colourful little bird. Perfect for the mood board. Love how you have used the twine too. Not sure what that embossing reminds me of, but I don't think it would have been broken eggs if you hadn't suggested it xx
He is one of a kind, Michele, and a handsome one at that. I love how you divided the card with the embossing.
Oh my gosh, this card is so darling and sweet! Ye, that embossing folder reminds me of broken eggs. LOL Not sure I saw it until you said it. Love your sweet colorful bird, he is so cute! He looks like he is working for the Easter bunny. LOL He is definitely one of a kind. Love, love, love! Glad you ladies had a wonderful day! Hugs. Brenda
ooh, I would love to meet this bird IRL, it's incredible (and kinda Harper'ish)!
Great coloring, Michele and another fab ef to show off.
I LOVE this one of a kind bird and the "broken egg" background, Michele! I'm sure he is going to enjoy living with you.
I would love to see this fella fly into the view of you know who's camera! Love the way you've colored him. This is a happy card!
Fun card! I see an ikat design in the embossing....
This is fabulous Michele! I see the broken egg, now that you've mentioned it. Not sure my mind would have gone there on its own, but I see it! Your colorful bird is certainly one of a kind. Pure delight!
Wow, what an amazing looking bird! The card is also pretty fabulous. :) Happy weekend my friend.
Oh my, he is FABULOUS in all his glorious colors Michele!! Never would have quite pictured him like that, but I have to admit that it totally works! I love the added color of his perch and sentiment surrounded by all that white...makes your feathered friend POP even more! You sure are on an egg kick lately, but now that you mention it... Hahaha!! Hugs. :0)
God certainly had creators like you in mind when he thought of birds. Such a fun, happy card!
Beautiful masculine bird in all his glory -- and your broken egg bg is a perfect place to roost this guy!
Oh my goodness, I just LOVE what you did with the bird!!!!! So much fun! Love the twine you used and that pink based sentiment is perfect!! Just perfect all around.
I can't unsee the broken eggs now, but I'm picturing them with yellow centers in a frying pan and PLEASE don't tell your pretty bird! These DD mood boards are hard to resist, aren't they? Your card is extra lovely and I really like that you gave him some simple twine for a perch. Also, the way you cut the sentiment is very clever. So sweet!
Oh Michele it's so good to see you here at Triple B ... thanks for the shout out ... we appreciate it! OMG this bird is awesome ... so colorful! But, he looks as though he's got a bit of an 'attitude'! His expression says to me ... 'What are you lookin' at?' LOL LOVE your overall design with the 'broken egg' embossed background and that twine was a great idea!
Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our newest adventure - Triple B challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
