Just us Girls - March 2023 Guest Designer

It was fun being a Chic of the Week at Just us Girls recently - and such a nice surprise when Vicki reached out to ask if I would be the JUGS Guest Designer for the month of March!  Thank you to all the designers that put my name/card in the hat!

Ready for card one?  Or more appropriately JUGS #669 - it's Color Week!

Just in case your screen doesn't read these colors correctly,
I have it from a very good source they are:
Turquoise, Mustard, and Black!

I couldn't resist putting my mustard where it could shine:

Mustard for her slicker and boots, and a turquoise umbrella - can you find my black?
No, I'm not including my stamping! lol!
Yes, I did slather her slicker and wellies up with a good coat of Nuvo Crystal Glaze!
Here's a somewhat better look at it...

Yes, I did add shine to all those raindrops, too!  Yikes!

Why not stop by the JUGS challenge blog today - you'll find tons of inspiration there from the team, so I know you'll have fun - we'd love to have you play along!

This is so sweet in these colors, Michele. I wouldn't mind going out in the rain if I had as cute a gear as she has. This card definitely delivers cheer!

Congratulations, of course they asked you! You are mega talented don't cha know! I think your rain geared up gal is so cute and definitely ready to rock the rainstorm. Your attention to detail is part of your appeal. That bitty black heart is the sweetest! Thanks for sharing!

What patience you must have had using that crystal glaze, not to mention giving it plenty of time to dry. Lovely card. We have just had the driest February for 30yrs so I wouldn't be unhappy if the rained hard all next week, but instead it is just going to get colder. No-one has told our weather that it is spring! xx

How cute is she all decked out in mustard! Love the shine you added to her and those pesky raindrops (must be the same ones that poured here yesterday!). I even spot some on her pretty little umbrella. Sweet card, Michele! So happy to have you guesting with us this month! XO

Congrats on guesting, you've done a marvelous job (altho somewhat loco) job with your wellie girl! I can't believe you added shine to each droplet -- is your black a black nuvo for the heart? what a cutie!

A cutie patootie and plenty of gloss and shine on a rainy day! I like how you created a raindrop-free space under her umbrella. It's all in the details!

A slicker has to have shine so I'm glad you did that, Michele, but all those raindrops too? Your hand must have been tired. Darling card for the color challenge and it's great to have you guesting with us.
