Judy Rozema is our host at Freshly Made Sketches #577 - her Sketch couldn't be more suitable for the snippets 'flying' about my desk today!
I had more of the 'negative' gold foiling from my playtime last week and thought these Pinkfresh butterflies would be so pretty as the circle stand-ins. It turns out they were okay but the foil lacked pizazz - UNTIL I reached for my sponge daubers and three gorgeous inks: CP drive in, and orange peel,
and The Stamp Market's fuchsia, and to be exact!
I gave the impression of Judy's panel using a few fun SSS Pepper Berry die-cuts a friend sent me that I 'dressed up' with a little gold paint! My sentiment is from a new Concord & 9th set you'll soon be seeing more of.
I made SIX butterfly cards today - thinking about all those Monarch's waking up in Mexico at the moment! Remember my Random Act of Kindness neighbor? She's returning the kindness by taking me to our Botanical Gardens to see the butterflies blooming on Friday!

Another beauty Michele and great way to use up those snippets! The foiled butterflies are so pretty with their added color, and I'm sure you'll enjoy the real ones tomorrow even better!! Beautiful card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
One would think there are no snippets here...but your talent at re-imagining and design shows what one can do. Gorgeous.
It's amazing the color shine from the added inks! How pretty they are fluttering across the branches with touches of gold making more magic as they go along. Beautiful use of the sketch. I would love to see those blooming butterflies in the garden. Enjoy your day!
Bet that foil looks amazing in real life. I just love those splatters and how you have added interest to the background with the white on white. It gives a lovely embossed effect without the embossing xx
This is a darling card....perfect little butterflies. The entire look is so clean and classy.
This is totally gorgeous, Michele!!! Love the color you added to those fabulous butterflies, and the touches of gold on the pepper berry die-cuts really ties it all together!!! Have lots of fun at the Botanical Gardens!!!
You worked magic with those pretty butterflies fluttering among the pepper berries! Wonderful card, Michele. Have FUN tomorrow, sounds like a good time!
The golden pepperberries make a wonderful background for these golden butterflies with the added sponged color! I saw a Swallowtail today. Enjoy the gardens.

Great use of the 'negative' gold foiling, Michele! The colors of sponged inks pop beautifully on the gold.
I'm sure you had a wonderful time at the Botanical Gardens with your neighbor. And just thinking about all those Monarch's waking up in Mexico is exciting, isn't it?
Hideko xx
